Late TV Legend Bob Newhart's Longtime L.A. Home Is Up for Grabs at $10.5 Million
Bob Newhart's final home on the Westside of Los Angeles is officially available almost a year after his death at age 94. As first reported by The Wall Street Journal, the stand-up comedian and TV sitcom legend moved into the Century City property shortly after it was built in 2016 and lived there until this past July. Now the Spanish Revival villa is up for sale at $10.5 million, with Drew Fenton and Max Lavine of Carolwood Estates holding the listing.
Records show the beloved star and his wife Ginnie, who passed away in 2023, quietly purchased the abode in an off-market deal for around $6.7 million. Nestled in the exclusive guard-gated Enclave at Century Woods community, where celebs the likes of Don Rickles and Jane Fonda have also resided, the multi-level townhouse features four bedrooms and seven baths in roughly 6,600 square feet accessible via an elevator, as well as a curving wrought iron-railed staircase.

Secluded beyond a gated entry courtyard, the beige stucco and terracotta-roof dwelling is highlighted by formal living and dining areas, plus a wet bar-equipped family room that opens to a wood-clad kitchen outfitted with an eat-in island, Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances, and a walk-in pantry. An upstairs primary suite sports a fireplace, Juliet balcony, and dual walk-in closets and baths, while a top-level office has its own fireside balcony overlooking city views.
Outdoors, the petite grounds hold a tree-laced patio that's ideal for alfresco entertaining, along with a turfed dog run and an attached three-car garage. The residence, which comes with a $5,553 monthly HOA fee, is also within walking distance of the shops and restaurants at Westfield Century City mall and just minutes away from Beverly Hills.
