Trump Organization launches mobile network using three major carriers to offer access
The Trump Organization just announced the launch of a brand-new cellular service, dubbed Trump Mobile. It's being marketed under the name T1 Mobile and piggybacks off of T-Mobile, AT&T and Verizon's cellular networks to provide coverage across the country. Labeled "a transformational, new cellular service," Trump Mobile was created to "deliver top-tier connectivity, unbeatable value and all-American service for our nation's hardest-working people." "I'm incredibly excited to step into this new digital space, hard-working Americans deserve a wireless service that's affordable, reflects their values, and delivers reliable quality they can count on," Eric, one of the executive vice presidents of the Trump Organization, said in the press release. "We're especially proud to offer free long-distance calling to our military members and their families — because those serving overseas should always be able to stay connected to the people they love back home," he added. The phone is being sold for $499, while the plan costs $47.45 (Image: Trump Mobile) Trump Mobile is set to offer 5G service through all three of the nation's major cellular carriers. For $47.45 per month — representative of Trump's tenure as the 45th and 47th president. The plan was dubbed The 47 Plan. Subscribers will receive unlimited talk, text and data, complete device protection and 24/7 roadside assistance through Drive America, according to the press release. They'll also have access to telehealth services, including virtual medical care, mental health support and easy ordering and delivery for prescription medications, the release states, as well as free international calling to more than 100 countries. Its flagship feature, however, is free international calling to veterans or active duty military members stationed abroad. It comes with no contracts and no credit check. Trump Mobile is also releasing a brand-new smartphone, called the T1 Phone, this August. It's described as a "sleek, gold smartphone engineered for performance." It closely mirrors the look of an iPhone and features a large T on the back, with an American flag etched underneath it. The default background screen appears to say "Make America Great Again." A disclaimer at the bottom of the press release admits that the Trump Organization seemingly has nothing to do with the sales of the phone despite being the company to organize its release. "Trump Mobile, its products and services are not designed, developed, manufactured, distributed or sold by The Trump Organization or any of their respective affiliates or principals," the release states. T1 Mobile LLC, the company behind Trump Mobile, is also allegedly using the Trump name temporarily under a limited license agreement, "which may be terminated or revoked according to its terms." It wasn't clear whether a trademark had even been filed for Trump Mobile or any of its products and services. Nevertheless, the Trumps expressed excitement over the sale, with Donald Jr. stating, according to the press release, "Trump Mobile is going to change the game, we're building on the movement to put America first, and we will deliver the highest levels of quality and service. Our company is based right here in the United States because we know it's what our customers want and deserve."

Trump launches $499 Trump Mobile Smartphone with $47 monthly plan
In a bold move to appeal to conservative American consumers, the Trump Organization has launched an all-new American-made smartphone, Trump Mobile, priced at $499. Announced on Monday, June 16, 2025, the smartphone will be manufactured and supported entirely in the United States. 'Trump Mobile is going to change the game. We're building on the movement to put America first,' said Donald Trump Jr. during the official launch, adding that the device and its support services are proudly based in the U.S. The initiative is seen as an attempt to create a patriotic alternative to foreign-made smartphones, aiming to tap into the estimated 60 million smartphones sold annually in the U.S., most of which are currently manufactured in China, India, Vietnam, or South Korea. Subscription Plan – 'The 47 Plan' Trump Mobile offers a wireless service plan known as the '47 Plan,' named after Trump's aspiration to become the 47th President. At a monthly cost of $47.45, it includes: Unlimited calls, texts, and data (first 20GB at high speed) International calling to over 100 countries No credit checks No contract with the freedom to cancel anytime SIM support for BYOD (bring your own device) Additionally, customers will get Roadside Assistance through Drive America as part of their mobile benefits. Coming Soon – The T1 Gold Phone The Trump Organization also announced the upcoming T1 Phone, a gold-colored, high-performance smartphone built entirely in the U.S. Slated for an August release, the T1 is being marketed as a premium option for users who want top-tier design and functionality with an American touch. While building smartphones domestically poses challenges—like higher labor costs and complex supply chains—the Trump Organization hopes this launch will usher in a new era of U.S.-based telecom products.

Trump Organization announces mobile phone service and a $499 gold phone
The Trump Organization announced it is starting a cellular phone service called T1 Phone by Trump Mobile that will charge $47.45 a month and include unlimited calls, text and data. It also plans to roll out a new $499 phone that will be built in the U.S. The new service was designed to coincide with the 10-year anniversary of President Trump's announcement of his first presidential run, the Trump Organization said in a Monday statement. The company said its mobile phone plan, which it dubbed the 47 Plan in a nod to Mr. Trump's current rank as the 47th U.S. president, won't require a contract or a credit check. In an interview on Fox News Business, Eric Trump — Mr. Trump's son and the executive vice president of the Trump Organization — said the new phone and service will align with his father's policy plans to boost American manufacturing and employment. "We want to have customer service by Americans for Americans," Eric Trump said in the Monday interview. "We want to have phones built by Americans, for Americans, and, you know, and we want to do it better than anybody. We're going to disrupt the space." The new mobile phone and service takes direct aim at phone manufacturers such as Apple, which has faced pressure from Mr. Trump to shift its manufacturing from China and India to the U.S. Last month, the president threatened to impose a 25% tariff on Apple products if the computer giant didn't reshore some of its manufacturing. If Apple were to build its iPhones in the U.S., they would cost about $3,500 each, more than triple their current retail price of about $1,000, because of the higher cost of manufacturing in the U.S., Wedbush analyst Dan Ives has said. Ethics issues raised The new Trump phone and cellular service raise a host of ethics issues, said Robert Weissman, the co-president of Public Citizen, a consumer rights advocacy group. Rival phone companies and manufacturers could face a dilemma if they have a cheaper phone or service, he noted. "Will they be intimidated to advertise that?" he pointed out. And if the phone is made with foreign-made parts, it raises issues about whether the company could get a break on the Trump administration's tariffs. "It threatens to be a real distortion of the economy around the Trump brand," he said. "My message to hard-working Americans is to slam down the phone in the face of this marketing ploy." What does Trump Mobile phone plan include? The Trump Mobile plan will "revolutionize cell phones, mobile calling," Eric Trump told Fox Business. "It's going to be cheaper, 47 bucks a month. You're going to have more internet. More international dialing for free, hundreds of countries. International dialing for free. It is the biggest bang for the buck," he added. The plan will include free calls to more than 100 countries, including those with U.S. military bases. People with the plan will also have access to 24/7 roadside assistance through Drive America, as well as telehealth services, the company said. The Trump Organization added that it will debut a T1 Phone in August that will cost $499. An image of the phone depicts a gold-colored device emblazoned with the phrase, "Make America Great Again." The device, which will have a fingerprint sensor and the ability to unlock using face recognition, will include 256 gigabytes of internal storage and 12gb of RAM. "I think we're going to really shake up the space in a very big way, both in terms of the actual hardware of the films and then obviously e-sim cards, and then just what you get for a plan per month," Eric Trump added. Trump Org launches mobile service for $47.45 a month
The Trump Organization announced Trump Mobile as its next venture on Monday, on the 10th anniversary of President Trump announcing his first bid for the White House. Why it matters: The announcement marks yet another expansion for the organization — run by the president's sons, Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr. — which made millions in real estate and luxury golf courses, but has pivoted to other avenues, including crypto and digital media. "One of the places where we felt there was lackluster performance was in the mobile industry," Donald Trump Jr. said from Trump Tower in New York City on Monday. State of play: Phones will be both built and remanufactured in the U.S., and the phone plan — which will cost $47.45 a month, a nod to Trump serving as the 45th and 47th U.S. president — will include unlimited data, texting and calls with over 100 countries. Trump Mobile will maintain a flat carrier fee and include a telemedicine partnership at no additional cost, with prescribing doctors available around the clock. It will also offer roadside assistance via Drive America. Customers can elect to use Trump Mobile SIM cards in their existing phones, though a new smartphone called the T1 is set for release in September and will cost $499. An image from the Trump Mobile website shows a gold-plated phone engraved with an American flag on the back. The website says the phones are made in the U.S. The call center will be based in St. Louis, Missouri, Eric Trump said. "It's about time we disrupt this space," he said. The intrigue: Trump Mobile "products and services are not designed, developed, manufactured, distributed or sold by The Trump Organization," the website said. Our thought bubble, from Axios' Ben Berkowitz: Trump Mobile is entering a crowded space that just so happens to be regulated by the president's appointees. The T1 brand on its phone is owned by the Trump Organization, effectively putting the Trump family in a manner of competition with the likes of Apple and Samsung, both of which the president has threatened to tariff heavily. Zoom out: During his 2024 campaign, the now-president promoted the sales of Trump-branded Bibles, sneakers and cologne.
