Campaign on women's inheritance wins Pakistani microfinance bank silver at Dubai awards
KARACHI: Pakistan's leading digital microfinance institution, Mobilink Bank, has won silver for its 'Invisible Heirs' campaign at the prestigious Dubai Lynx Awards 2025, the MENA region's biggest creative and marketing event, the financial institute said on Thursday. Mobilink Bank's campaign excelled in the 'Creative Strategy Corporate Purpose & Social Responsibility' category for 'elevating consciousness against the systemic denial of inheritance share for most women in Pakistan.' The campaign tackles gender-based financial inequality to foster financial autonomy for women. The campaign featured a video narrative highlighting women's emotional and societal challenges in securing their inheritance, which sparked a nationwide conversation and inspiring action. The bank also innovatively integrated an 'Inheritance Calculator' in its mobile app to allow women to easily calculate their rightful share in inheritance. Dubai Lynx reveals The Work shortlists for 2025 awards
Dubai Lynx, MENA's leading platform for creative excellence and effectiveness, has revealed its first round of shortlists for the 2025 Awards. The Work shortlists recognise outstanding creativity and innovation across multiple categories. All shortlisted pieces of work will now compete to be awarded MENA's most prestigious creative communications accolade. View the: The Film shortlist will be announced Tuesday, 8 April at 9am (GST, while the Entertainment, Glass: The Award for Change, Healthcare and Integrated shortlists will be announced Wednesday, 9 April at 9am (GST). Winners will be announced at the Dubai Lynx Awards Ceremony taking place at the Emirates Golf Club on Wednesday, 9 April, bringing together the industry to celebrate the region's outstanding achievements. As a prominent creative festival and awards program organized by Cannes Lions, Dubai Lynx will play a pivotal role in elevating the future of creativity in Saudi Arabia. 'Saudi Arabia's creative industry is at a pivotal moment, driven by ambition and a growing appetite for world-class creative excellence,' Adel Baraja, CEO of Publicis Communications KSA, told Arab News. Crucially, the Dubai edition will take place on April 7 and 8. Meanwhile, the Saudi edition will take place at Snap Inc.'s Riyadh office from Feb. 18 to 19. 'The Riyadh edition of the Young Lynx Academy, in partnership with Publicis Groupe Middle East, is designed to be an immersive experience that challenges young professionals to think creatively and push their boundaries,' Kamille Marchant, director of Dubai Lynx, told Arab News. First Day Participants will meet the mentors on the first day that will also feature keynote speeches from industry experts and networking opportunities.
