2025 Tata Altroz crash testing footage published. Here's a list of its safety features
The all-new 2025 Tata Altroz is expected to feature similar safety performance as the outgoing model. After launching the hatchback, Tata Motors has published the internal crash testing footage of the car, showcasing its build quality and mettle. Check it out in the embedded section below: The updated Tata Altroz comes in at a starting price of ₹ 6.89 lakh (ex-showroom) and it is offered in a new shade called the 'Dune Glow' apart from four other colourways. Is it the new Gold Standard? 2025 Tata Altroz: Safety features The 2025 Tata Altroz has been built on the carmaker's ALFA Architecture with Ultra High Strength Steel (UHSS). This is claimed to be a hard shell designed specifically to absorb impact and protect the occupants. Other than the cocoon, the hatchback features 6 airbags as standard on all variants, along with an Electronic Stability Program (ESP), hill hold assist, antiglare IRVMs, perimetric alarm, rollover mitigation, and an immobiliser. Additional safety kit includes fog lamps, rear defogger, rain-sensing wipers, TPMS, ISOFIX seats at the rear and SOS as well as emergency breakdown buttons for contacting support in unforeseen situations. There is a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that delivers 86 bhp peak power and 115 Nm of maximum torque. It is available with a five-speed manual gearbox, a 5-speed AMT or a six-speed DCT automatic unit. Here's what each of the variant has to offer 2025 Tata Altroz facelift: Interior and features The newly launched Tata Altroz facelift gets a revamped dashboard on the inside, which now houses a freestanding 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, along with a 10.25-inch instrument cluster. Tata Motors is going to launch the updated 2025 Altroz hatchback, featuring cosmetic and functional enhancements aimed at improving user experience while maintaining safety and practicality. The updated model includes a redesigned exterior, an upgraded cabin with new features, and will be available in multiple variants with enhanced safety and infotainment systems. Design updates -The 2025 Tata Altroz boasts several exterior changes--a new 3D front grille, connected LED tail lamps, flush door handles, and redesigned LED headlamps and fog lamps. -The vehicle will be available in five colour choices--Dune Glow, Ember Glow, Pure Grey, Royal Blue and Pristine White. -The cabin has been updated with a new dashboard layout called Grand Prestigia. It also features dual HD displays. Features -Additional interior features include a digital instrument cluster, touch-based climate control panel, cruise control and connected vehicle functions. -It is offered in five variants--Smart, Pure, Creative, Accomplished S and Accomplished+ S. -Higher variants include additional features. These are a 360-degree camera, blind spot monitor, ambient lighting, wireless charger, air purifier and rear AC vents. -A voice-assisted electric sunroof is available as an option on select trims. -It includes six airbags and electronic stability control as standard on higher variants. Other notable equipment includes a 26.03 cm infotainment screen and instrument cluster from Harman. It also has support for connected apps and SOS calling functions.
