Duong Nguyen paid $20 for a Gold Rush Limited ticket at the Bolsa Oriental Market in Pinellas Park and won $1 million, according to a March 4 Florida Lottery news release. Odds of winning $1 million in the game are 1 in 756,000. Seven-figure prizes mean winners must make a choice between getting a lump sum or taking smaller payments over time. 'He chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $795,000,' the lottery said. There are 100 $1 million prizes in Gold Rush Limited, which tops out with a $5 million jackpot and the odds of winning it are 1-in-2,362,500. Nguyen, 39, lives in Pinellas Park, which is about a 20-mile drive southwest from Tampa. The 'family-owned' Bolsa Oriental Market got 'a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning scratch-off ticket.'

The Florida Lottery announced that 39-year-old Duong Nguyen claimed a $1 million prize from the $20 GOLD RUSH LIMITED scratch-off game. He chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $795,000. The lottery said Nguyen bought the ticket at the Bolsa Oriental Market located at 8730 49th Street North Suite 5 in Pinellas Park. The retailer received a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket.
