Importantly, the event highlighted the participation of the Jordanian Contractors Association (JCA) under the patronage of the Higher Committee for Reconstruction in Palestine, represented by its President Fouad Duwairi and Vice President Marouf Ghananim. During the forum, the committee's president highlighted the association's efforts to boost reconstruction efforts in Palestine and Gaza. Duwairi also reviewed the donations of Jordanian contractors in recent months. In this context, Duwairi emphasized the JCA's dedication to helping the Palestinian people, mentioning that Jordanian contractors have significantly contributed to the reconstruction efforts through donations of machinery and construction equipment. JCA participates in Palestine reconstruction forum
AMMAN — The Arab and International Organisation to Construct in Palestine on Saturday convened its forum in Istanbul under the theme 'From Rubble, We Build Hope,' drawing broad participation from Jordanian, Arab, and international stakeholders. The Jordanian Contractors Association (JCA) participated in the forum's sessions and in meetings of the Supreme Committee for Reconstruction in Palestine, represented by JCA President Fouad Duwairi. In his remarks, Duwairi underscored the association's active role in supporting reconstruction efforts in Palestine and Gaza, highlighting financial contributions made by Jordanian contractors and technical studies conducted by the JCA on reconstruction methodologies. He reaffirmed the association's steadfast commitment to the Palestinian people, especially in Gaza, and pledged the continued engagement of Jordanian contractors in rebuilding efforts. Duwairi noted that Jordanian contractors have donated machinery and equipment to support reconstruction and debris removal operations. "A detailed list of these resources has been submitted to the reconstruction committee." He added that the removal and processing of rubble are expected to take approximately one year, with Gaza divided into designated operational zones to facilitate the process. The JCA, Duwairi said, has also participated in several international conferences aimed at identifying effective mechanisms for recycling construction materials to support sustainable rebuilding in Gaza. The Jordanian Contractors Association participated in the forum's activities under the auspices of the Higher Committee for Reconstruction in Palestine, represented by its President Fouad Duwairi and Vice President Marouf Ghananim, the Jordan News Agency reported. In his address, Duwairi outlined the association's efforts to assist reconstruction efforts in Palestine and Gaza, highlighting the donations made by Jordanian contractors in recent months. He also shared technical studies conducted by the association, aimed at supporting rebuilding initiatives. Duwairi reaffirmed the JCA's commitment to aiding the Palestinian people, noting that Jordanian contractors have donated machinery and construction equipment for reconstruction efforts. A full inventory of tools and equipment earmarked for debris removal and rebuilding has already been submitted. He explained that clearing the debris and recycling materials in Gaza is expected to take approximately a year once the enclave is divided into operational zones, stressing that Jordanian contractors were fully prepared to engage in the reconstruction process.
