Newark motorcyclist killed in early-morning crash on Brownsville Road in Hanover Township
A Newark man was killed in an early-morning motorcycle crash June 18 in Hanover Township, in southeastern Licking County, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Dylan Lee McPherson, 22, of Newark, was driving a 2016 Harley Davidson Street Glide motorcycle on Brownsville Road Southeast near Staddens Bridge Road Southeast, when he traveled off the right side road, hit a guardrail and overturned just after 6 a.m. June 18, according to a Highway Patrol news release.
McPherson was not wearing a helmet and died at the scene, according to the Highway Patrol. The crash remains under investigation.
Authorities ask anyone with information about the crash to contact the Ohio State Highway Patrol at 740-654-1523.
