Poppy Delevingne pulls out of movie project as she prepares to welcome first child with billionaire businessman Archie Keswick
Poppy Delevingne has stepped away from a drama film project as she prepares to welcome her first child. The model, 39, who is expecting a baby girl this month with her billionaire partner Archie Keswick, 44, has exited the cast of the US film The Gun On Second Street, as confirmed by MailOnline's Richard Eden on Thursday. Director Rohit Karn Batra previously told MailOnline that he cast Poppy because he 'wanted to cast someone who was posh but with a West Virginia twang'. However, Rohit has now revealed that she will no longer appear in the movie, stating simply: 'Poppy is no longer a part of the production.' Speaking at the DDA cocktail party during the Cannes Film Festival, the director confirmed that her role will now be taken over by Dylan Penn, 34, daughter of Sean Penn. A spokesperson for Poppy said it was her decision to step away from the project. It comes after Poppy admitted that she's struggling to get used to how her body is changing through her pregnancy. The model discovered she was pregnant after noticing her clothing had gotten tighter between fittings for the Burberry show at London Fashion Week in September. However, she says she's still not got to grips with the ongoing changes to her figure in the months since, claiming she was 'one of the worst pregnancy dressers'. Poppy has launched her new clothing collaboration with Nobody's Child, inspired by her own looks over the years, with each piece named after her friends and family. She said: 'In my twenties, I would pretty much wear anything. I'm a bit more minimal, a little more pared down. I'd like to think my style attitude has evolved somewhat.' Speaking to Grazia about her evolving style, the socialite said her fashion had 'calmed down' in her thirties, compared to her more eclectic taste in her youth. 'I'm in awe of it but, at the same time, I'm like, OK, this is interesting having different boobs. I'll probably get to grips with it in my last month, by which time it will be over and done with. After previously revealing that she and Archie are expecting a baby girl, she said her sisters Cara and Chloe couldn't wait to become aunties, adding: 'Another girl to add to our tribe is really a dream come true.' Announcing her pregnancy in January to ELLE, Poppy said that while she would have been happy with any gender, coming from a family of girls meant the news she was having a daughter was particularly welcome. She added: 'She really is all I've ever wanted. Obviously, I would have been fine with either, and when I was younger, I always thought when I get pregnant, I wouldn't find out, but the second we got told we could find out, we did. 'I'm so excited. I come from all girls, we're very girl-heavy. Girls are great.' Poppy and Archie kept their exciting news to themselves for a while and only told friends and family around the four-month mark. The model admitted she was 'really nervous' about her pregnancy and wanted to 'protect' it for a while. She explained: 'It just feels like such an extraordinary privilege to be able to do this, to be able to have a baby at this age and at this time, and when it happened, I couldn't really believe it.' Poppy has long wanted to start a family of her own, but admitted in recent years she thought it might not happen for her and had 'made peace with it'. She said her sisters were 'elated' when they found out the news, adding: 'It just feels like such an extraordinary privilege to be able to do this, to be able to have a baby at this age and at this time, and when it happened, I couldn't really believe it. It still feels really surreal.' She went public with her relationship with billionaire Archie, 44, at BTS Hyde Park in July 2024. He is the son of Simon Keswick, former director of multi-billion-pound Hong Kong conglomerate Jardine Matheson - owner of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group. According to the Sunday Times Rich List, Archie has a private fortune of an estimated £6.35bn, and previously dated Poppy's old pal Sienna Miller in 2021. While Poppy was previously married to aviation businessman James Cook for eight years. They tied the knot in 2014 at St Paul's Church in Kensington, London, with a guestlist including Alexa Chung, Georgia May Jagger, Princess Beatrice and Suki Waterhouse. Poppy broke her silence on the split last September, saying she 'will always have a good relationship' with James.

Actor Sean Penn's appearance in a new interview has shocked the internet, with fans asking why he suddenly looks so different. Penn, 64, is the latest guest on broadcaster Louis Theroux's podcast, but clips from the episode teased on social media have been derailed by the overwhelming reaction to Penn's scruffy appearance. The actor appears on the podcast bearded, his hair white and shaggy, and with a noticeable red scab on his nose and deep lines across his face. 'Good god, what happened to Sean Penn?' read one top-rated comment. Another quipped that someone had 'dehydrated' the Oscar-winning actor. 'I'm shocked at his appearance. Penn has a 34-year age gap with his latest girlfriend, actress and model Valeria Nicov, 30. The couple made their red carpet debut at the Marrakech International Film Festival last November. Penn, who was previously married to actress Robin Wright, has two adult children, Dylan, 33, who is three years older than his girlfriend, and his son Hopper, 30, who is the same age. He was also briefly married to Madonna in the eighties and recently split from his third wife, 33-year-old Australian actress Leila George. She is the daughter of Penn's acting contemporaries Vincent D'Onofrio and Greta Scacchi, both 65. A then-single Penn opened up about his thoughts on romance in an interview with the New York Times published in June last year. 'If I'm going to be in a relationship, I'm still going to be free, or I'm not going to be in it, and I'm not going to be hurting.
