Former NSTP photographer dies from colorectal cancer
SEREMBAN: Former New Straits Times Press photographer Dzulkifli Mustapha, 65, passed away at Tuanku Jaafar Hospital (HTJ) here at around 1pm today due to colorectal cancer.
The late Dzulkifli had previously undergone surgery and was treated at the hospital for two weeks after being diagnosed with stage four colorectal cancer in March.
According to family members, he was readmitted to the same hospital about two weeks ago after becoming weak due to a lack of appetite, before passing away at 1pm.
His body was taken to Masjid Kariah Mambau here for funeral prayers and to be shrouded, before being laid to rest at the Bandar Ainsdale Muslim Cemetery after the Asar prayers.
Dzulkifli had served with NSTP since 1987, with his final posting at the Negri Sembilan bureau, before retiring in 2017.
