Canadian singer and songwriter Grimes has announced that she is canceling her upcoming World Pride performance in Washington, DC. The decision comes as the artist is dealing with something personal. Fans expressed their concerns, and Grimes promised to make amends has canceled her appearance at World Pride 2025 in Washington, D.C., citing urgent family matters. The announcement comes after previous public concerns about her co-parenting relationship with Elon Musk and a reported medical issue with one of their canceling her planned World Pride performance in Washington, D.C., "to deal with family issues," the singer apologized to her fans, as per a report by E! the May 26 social media post, Grimes (real name is Claire Eliser) added, "I want to say that I am aware the situation has been a great inconvenience to the fans for some time, and I am truly determined to make sure this is no longer the case very soon."She said she was extremely sorry and regretful about asserted she is confident that the June 6–7 festival, which also includes a set by RuPaul, Troye Sivan, Kim Petras, and Sofi Tukker, is "still going to be amazing."She continued by saying, "I hope this is early enough and gives people enough time if they wish to change their plans,' she added.
