Madras Medical College holds three-day national conference for UG students
The Madras Medical College (MMC) has organised a national-level medical education conference for undergraduate students. Nearly 2,000 students from 110 colleges across 12 States are participating in the event.
The conference — Miracle '25 — featured nearly 56 lectures, covering all branches of medicine. It began with workshops on Thursday (May 1, 2025), and will go on till Saturday (May 3, 2025). On the first day, 39 workshops were held across various departments. These were designed to allow students to learn about treatment methods and diagnostic techniques in various medical fields through live demonstrations, a press release said.
Lectures on doctors' mental well-being and environmental health, future opportunities, and career guidance for young doctors are part of topics that will be discussed at the conference.
E. Theranirajan, Additional Director of Medical Education, was the Organising Chairman and Kavitha, vice-principal of MMC, was the co-chairman of the conference.
