On Thursday, EA Sports announced the release of the newest Madden franchise game. The announcement came in the form of a trailer, which is voiced over by none other than Washington Commanders head coach Dan Quinn.
The trailer sets the scene for draft night, landing on one young man in particular who answers the phone.
"Hello?"
"JD, it's Coach DQ with the Commanders. You ready for this?"
"Been ready, coach."
"Haha, man, I already know. You've been building for this your whole life."
Music plays before Quinn continues, "Just sit with that a minute, man, how important this is. Because anyone don't make it this far. Anyone don't make it to the top. Thankfully, I'm not just talking to anyone."
"No, sir," the man depicting Jayden Daniels replies.
"Welcome home."
The game is now available for pre-order, but it won't be released on consoles until August. While this hasn't been confirmed, the idea appears to be that gamers can take a player from high school through college and to the NFL. Pre-order bundles include both Madden 26 and College Football 26.
