Women forced into prostitution at local massage parlors: AG
WARREN, Ohio (WJW) – Eight people face charges in a local human trafficking raid. According to a press release from the Ohio Attorney General's Office, women were forced into prostitution at two massage parlors on West Market Street in Warren. Ohio launches app, new text line to report human trafficking
(WKBN) — Last August, Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost launched the statewide hotline to report human trafficking. Now, other ways of reporting it are being added to it. The number is 844-END-OHHT. In an email on Thursday, Yost's office announced people can TEXT 'ENDOHHT' to 847411. There's also an App. You can download 'ENDOHHT' wherever you get apps on your phone. Or submit an online form here. Tips coming into the hotline, which is operated 24/7 by the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation, are assessed by criminal intelligence analysts, who will forward relevant information to the appropriate local law enforcement agency or victim advocacy center for social services.
