Canada tested its emergency alert systems Wednesday (May 7), using all the means of communication including phones, radios, and TVs to alert residents across all its provinces. The tests, conducted through Alert Ready, aimed to ensure the system's effectiveness in warning the public about potential dangers like environmental disasters or civil Ready messages were broadcast across every province and territory except Quebec and Alberta. The alerts were delivered through televisions, radios, and LTE-connected or compatible wireless devices.
