Zeidan discusses with Spanish prosecutor nature of the Public Prosecution Service work
The head of the Supreme Judicial Council, Faiq Zeidan, discussed with the Spanish Attorney General, Alvaro Garcia Ortiz, to review the nature of the work of the Public Prosecution.
The Supreme Judicial Council said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Zeidan met with the Spanish Attorney General, Alvaro Garcia Ortiz, and they reviewed the nature of the work of the public prosecution in Spain."
The Council added, "Zeidan is currently visiting Spain at the invitation of the European Commission/ EU-ACT program for international cooperation in combating organized crime, to share experiences on the formation of judicial bodies and specialized prosecution units to combat drug trafficking and organized crime."
