NOPD: 2 robberies, 2 suspects, 2 days apart are connected
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The New Orleans Police Department is looking to identify two suspects in a pair of armed robberies that officers say are connected. The cases are the latest ones to roll on the Wheel of Justice.
The cases happened around 6:25 and 6:40 in the evening on February 6 and 8 respectively. Also, the two robberies happened less than 2 miles apart in Algiers.

The first robbery happened in the 500 block of O'Bannon Street where a woman was robbed by two men with a gun after she made a bank withdrawal. The second happened in the 1300 block of Odeon Avenue near a store where police say two robbers used a gun to confront and steal money from a woman who was on her way to shop at the business.
Police also released security camera footage of the suspects from both robberies. At least one of the suspects appears to be wearing the same shoes and carrying the same gun. Police confirmed to WGNO News that they believe the cases are connected.
