DENVER (KDVR) — A $25,000 reward is being offered for information on a deadly 2024 hit-and-run crash in Avon.
On March 5, 2024, 76-year-old Jack Ladesic of Pennsylvania was struck by a vehicle near the Stonebridge Bus Stop (East) on Route 6 in Avon.
'It is believed that Ladesic was walking on the shoulder of the road between 6:47 PM and 6:50 PM on Tuesday night between the Eagle Vail Shop and Hop Gas Station and the River Oaks Apartment Complex when he was struck by a motorist,' said the town of Avon in a 2024 release.

Ladesic was pronounced dead on scene. He was described by the Avon Police Department as a 'beloved member of the Vail Valley community.'
Despite efforts from law enforcement, one year later, no arrests have been made.
The Justice for Jack fund is now offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information that leads to an arrest and prosecution.
''If you know something, say something.' Jack's friends, family, and the community urge anyone with information to come forward and help bring those responsible to justice,' said Avon police.
Anyone who has information is asked to contact the Avon Police Department at 970-748-4444.
