Woman sexually assaulted while running in Orléans last weekend, police say

The Ottawa Police Service is appealing for witnesses to come forward after a woman was sexually assaulted while jogging in Orléans.
The incident occurred in the area of Innes Road and Viseneau Drive at approximately 8:45 a.m. Sunday.
Police say a male on a bicycle approached the woman from behind and sexually assaulted her.
'The male did not stop and continued to ride his bicycle out of the area,' police said in a media release.
'He is described as white with a skinny build. He had dark hair, wore a dark shirt and pants, and rode an older-style mountain bicycle.'
Investigators would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have dash cam or surveillance footage of the area Sunday morning.
