Wayne County man facing prison, steals rifle from federal firearm licensee
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – A Wayne County man is facing prison time after he was convicted of theft of a firearm from a federal firearm licensee.
Prosecutors said around 4:55 a.m. on October 7, 2023, 23-year-old Lucas Burke of Wolcott smashed a window near the entrance of East Side Traders in Ontario and entered the building. Once inside, he stole a rifle and attempted to steal two others but was unsuccessful.
East Side Traders was a Federal Firearms licensee in Wayne County authorized to sell firearms.

Burke was sentenced to serve 30 months in prison by United States District Judge Charles Siragusa.
