A former high school football star in Texas, who played in college, was found dead earlier this week. The former Texas high school football standout was found dead in a backyard, with apparent gunshot wounds. He was reportedly shot to death in Fort Worth, Texas last Sunday, June 15. Prayers are pouring in for Marshall's friends and family members during this difficult time. He was a standout performer in both high school and college: Marshall, who was from Carthage, was on the Bulldogs football team. He recorded 252 tackles, 19 tackles for loss, six forced fumbles and four fumble recoveries during career at Carthage High School. At Carthage, he was 2013 and 2014 First Team All-District, 2014 All-East Texas Super Team, 2013 All-State Honorable Mention and 2013 Academic All-District.
