Crews put out attic fire in Easthampton home
EASTHAMPTON, Mass. (WWLP) – Crews in Easthampton were sent to an attic fire early Wednesday morning.
Fire engulfs home on Dubois Street in Westfield due to lack of water supply
The Easthampton Fire Department states that crews received a 911 call at around 12:20 a.m. for a report of a house fire. When crews arrived, they found a fire in the attic area. All of the occupants were evacuated by police while firefighters began to work on putting out the fire.
The cause of the fire is being investigated by Easthampton Fire, Easthampton Police, and the State Fire Marshals Office. There is no word on if there were any injuries.
Northampton Fire, Southampton Fire, Holyoke Fire, South Hadley District 1, Barnes Air National Guard, Westover Fire Department, and Easthampton CERT assisted in putting out the fire.
