KTM 390 Duke gets 10 year warranty but for limited time only
KTM 390 Duke is sold in three colours - Signature Electronic Orange, Ebony Black and Atlantic Blue. Check Offers KTM India has announced that they are offering a 10-year warranty on the 390 Duke. This offer is applicable only till June 30th. An authorised KTM dealership would be able to provide a few terms and conditions. Till now, the brand offered a 2-year warranty + a 3-year extended warranty. And before this, the brand offered a warranty of two years only. What are the recent updates to the KTM 390 Duke? KTM India recently launched the 390 Duke in the Indian market. It comes in a new colour scheme called Ebony Black. Up to this point, KTM has offered the 390 Duke in two colour options - Electronic Orange and Atlantic Blue. What are the engine specifications of the KTM 390 Duke? KTM 390 Duke is powered by a 399 cc, single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, which is calibrated to deliver a maximum power output of 44.25 bhp and a peak torque of 39 Nm. Previously, the engine had a displacement of 373 cc, which was increased to 399 cc with the introduction of the new-generation Duke. Additionally, it features a 6-speed transmission equipped with a bi-directional quickshifter. Alongside the cruise control feature, the 2025 model will unveil a revamped switchgear that includes dedicated buttons for cruise control. The 5-inch TFT display stays the same, offering Bluetooth connectivity for music management, managing incoming calls, and enabling turn-by-turn navigation. Additionally, the motorcycle will feature launch control, multiple riding modes, a new Track Mode, SuperMoto ABS, a Quickshifter, self-cancelling indicators, cruise control, and a speed limiter function. Moreover, it will also include riding modes, traction control, cornering ABS, and a fully adjustable suspension setup. What are the competitors of the KTM 390 Duke? What is the hardware on duty with the KTM 390 Duke? The motorcycle features a steel trellis frame, along with a newly designed sub-frame, both constructed from pressure die-cast aluminum. Furthermore, a newly crafted curved swingarm has been introduced. The suspension system is equipped with upside-down forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear. The braking system for the 2024 390 Duke has been adapted from the RC 390 model. It includes new, lighter rotors, with the front disc measuring 320 mm and the rear disc at 240 mm. In addition, the alloy wheels have been optimized for weight efficiency and now showcase a reduced number of spokes, also drawing inspiration from the design of the RC 390. New Ford Territory 1.8 Dark Edition rolls into Mzansi
Ford South Africa on Tuesday lifted the lid on its stylish new Territory 1.8 Dark Edition. Based on the range-topping 1.8 Titanium derivative and riding on a set of 19" Ebony Black alloy wheels, this newcomer distinguishes itself with a distinctive satin black radiator grille and a high-gloss black finish applied to its skid plate, fog lamp accents and mirror caps. This same menacing hue also adorns the SUV's roof skin and rails, lower guard trim strip, window trim and 'Territory' badge across the centre of the tailgate. From launch, customers are able to specify their Territory Dark Edition in one of four striking exterior colours: Crystal Pearl White, Lustrous Grey, Panther Black or Ruby Red. Inside the luxurious cabin you'll find the Territory Dark Edition's charcoal black headliner and pillars are set against black leather perforated seats, door trims and instrument panel inserts with contrasting Cyber Orange stitching. The centre console and dashboard/door finishers have also been modified to suit with a stealthy new carbon fibre-look pattern. As with the Territory Titanium, the Dark Edition comes with a generous cache of standard features. These include a 12.3" digital instrument cluster, 12.3" touchscreen infotainment system, wireless charging, four USB ports, four selectable drive modes (Eco, Normal, Sport and Mountain), a reverse camera, electric tailgate and dual-zone climate control. Unique to the Territory Dark Edition is a new 360° camera that provides much improved all-round visibility — a boon in tight parking spaces and when manoeuvring around obstacles. Image: Supplied Power is provided by a 1.8 l four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine kicking out 138kW and 318Nm. This is sent to the front axle via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Now available at Ford dealerships, the Territory 1.8 Dark Edition retails for R733,000. This includes a six-year/90,000km Ford Optional Service Plan, four-year/120,000km Ford warranty and a four-year/unlimited distance roadside assistance package.
