Report: Multiple WWE Superstars Released (Updated)
Hot off the heels of WWE releasing multiple staff members yesterday, things have unfortunately shifted to the talent side this evening. This post will be updated throughout the evening as more names are confirmed. Advertisement UPDATE #3: Mike Johnson of PWInsider is reporting that Jakara Jackson has been released. This comes days after Meta-Four was basically broken up on WWE NXT. UPDATE #2: Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp has confirmed that Gigi Dolin, Cora Jade, Eddy Thorpe, and Riley Osborne have been released. Their names have been added to the original post below. UPDATE #1: While not confirmed, it appears Cora Jade has been released as well, based on her recent post on social media, tweeting out: 'Thankful for all the childhood dreams I got to live out! I have a lot to say in due time. Stay tuned xoxo,' Cora Jade said in a post. Advertisement Eddy Thorpe also posted a cryptic tweet with a pirate flag and a GIF indicating he might also be released. Reality. Let the Galaxy burn,' Shayna Baszler said in a post. Kai also took to social media to acknowledge her release with a white heart emoji and the infamous Grand Theft Auto IV meme. WWE releases: Cora Jade, Eddy Thorpe and Riley Osborne share ‘farewell' messages
Cora Jade, Eddy Thorpe, and Riley Osborne shared cryptic messages soon after Sean Ross Stapp of reported that WWE has released several stars, including Katana Chance, Kayden Carter, Dakota Kai, Braun Strowman, Shayna Baszler, and Gigi Dolin. In a post on X, platform formerly known as Twitter, Jade thanked her fans. 'Thankful for all the childhood dreams I got to live out! I have a lot to say in due time. Stay tuned xoxo,' she wrote, without revealing details. Eddy Thorpe, meanwhile, posted a GIF showing a man saluting bye. Riley Osborne re-shared Cora Jade's Instagram story about 'having free time'. While WWE has not issued an official statement about the releases yet, fans speculate that Jade, Thorpe and Osborne have already bid farewell to the entertainment company.
