Good luck, Mum and Dad, explaining that Sabrina Carpenter cover
Good day, dearest Times reader, and welcome to the week in which middle-aged male Oasis fans received a brutal insult.
'Oasis fans branded 'Fat, drunk and rowdy' by 'snob' council bosses ahead of Edinburgh gigs,' The Scottish Sun roared. Reading on, we learnt that 'snooty' Edinburgh council officials said that 'rowdy' punters at the forthcoming Oasis shows were expected to have 'medium to high intoxication' levels. Furthermore, officials cautioned over the occupancy levels that could be expected in bars because 'middle-aged men take up more room'.
To translate: there are some big units migrating to Murrayfield and they will have been on the piss since midday. Prepare accordingly.
In all honesty, I cannot see how this is insulting. To be appropriately 'mad for it', of course intoxication levels will be 'medium to high'. It's Oasis: 'medium to high' sounds like wishful thinking, dads on the razz-wise.
