Tickets on sale now for Ross Park Zoo's Eggstravaganza
BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) – The Ross Park Zoo is celebrating its 150th anniversary with the return of a wildly popular spring tradition.
The nation's fifth oldest zoo announced on Monday that tickets are now on sale for the annual Eggstravaganza.
The two-day event will take place on April 18 and April 19 at the Ross Park Zoo in Binghamton. Families will be able to welcome spring and celebrate Easter with a variety of games and activities as well as a visit with the Easter Bunny. Those in attendance will be able to make crafts, enjoy treats, and participate in a challenge to find colorful eggs in some animal habitats.
Ross Park Zoo says it animals will also be participating in the fun with their own spring-themed toys, snacks, and other enrichment items that guests will get to watch them enjoy.
The Eggstravaganza begins at 10 a.m. with last admission at 3 p.m. each day.
Tickets are $10 for general admission and free for Ross Park Zoo members and children under 2 years old.
In addition, the Ross Park Zoo is offering a special on new memberships. Anyone filling out anew membership application on April 18 or April 19 will get their membership rate reduced by 10%.
Ross Park Zoo will also be resuming tram transportation for guests with mobility issues as well as Leopard Spot snack shack operations on weekends starting with Eggstravaganza through the Grand Opening in May.
