Indian Idol 12 winner Pawandeep Rajan undergoes three more surgeries for eight hours, team issues statement
Pawandeep Rajan , the Indian Idol 12 winner and a talent singer recently met with a harrowing car crash. The singer was travelling from his hometown to Noiada with his friend and driver. While driving, the driver dozed off and lost control of the vehicle due to which it got collided with the rear end of an Eicher Canter truck. The people around the site rushed to help as well as police came to rescue them and took them to the nearby hospital for prompt medical aid. Now, after one round of surgeries, Pawandeep's team has issued yet another statement revealing the singer underwent a second round of surgeries. After 8 hours of surgery, Pawandeep's fractures and injuries have been operated on. Here's what the statement read, "Hi Everyone, Pawan underwent three more surgeries yesterday. Pawandeep's team had earlier shared, "Yesterday was a very difficult and hard day for the family and all his well-wishers. The whole day he was struggling with severe pain and unconsciousness. However, after a whole lot of diagnosis and examinations, he was taken into the operation theatre around 7 pm and after 6 hours some of his major fractures have been operated on successfully and he is currently in Medical ICU under observation. Post 3-4 days rest he will again be operated for the rest of the fractures and injuries." Recently, Pawandeep's friend Govind Digari turned to Instagram to share a photo of Pawandeep, who was smiling while resting in the hospital. The musician has been released from the intensive care unit and is being closely monitored due to his severe injuries. Indian Idol 12 winner Pawandeep Rajan recently met with a serious car accident near Moradabad, resulting in major injuries. He underwent a six-hour surgery and is expected to have another one soon. As per his friend Govind Digari, Pawandeep is now recovering and has been shifted from the ICU to a private singer met with an accident on May 5. Following the accident, Pawandeep Rajan and two others were rushed to a nearby hospital, before being transferred to a Delhi hospital for advanced sustained multiple injuries, including fractures in his legs, head, and shoulder. Pawandeep Rajan, the winner of Indian Idol 12, made headlines following his terrible tragedy. According to reports, the musician received several severe injuries after his car collided with another vehicle on May 5 in the early morning. Following this, Pawandeep (28) was transported to the hospital. Now, the singer's team has issued their first formal statement, providing an update on the singer's health. According to the statement, Rajan underwent surgery for fractures acquired as a result of the team has taken to his Instagram handle to pen the statement about the singer's accident and also shared an update about his surgery. The team penned, "Hi everyone, as you all are aware that Pawandeep Rajan met with a tragic road accident on 5th May early morning near Moradabad, UP while he was on his way to Delhi to catch a flight to Ahmedabad for an event. Initially, he was operated at a nearby available facility but later he was shifted to a better hospital in Delhi NCR. He has suffered with multiple major fractures and few small injuries."It further read, "Yesterday was a very difficult and hard day for the family and all his whole day he was struggling with severe pain and unconsciousness. However, after a whole lot of diagnosis and examinations, he was taken into the operation theatre around 7 pm and after 6 hours some of his major fractures have been operated on successfully and he is currently in Medical ICU under observation. Post 3-4 days rest he will again be operated for the rest of the fractures and injuries. "For the unversed, Pawandeep was travelling from his hometown to Noida for an event with his friend Ajay Mehra and driver Rahul Singh. The three were travelling in an MG Hector. According to the investigation, Rahul Singh, the driver, reportedly slept while driving the vehicle, causing him to lose control of it. Because of this, Pawandeep's car collided with the rear of an Eicher Canter lorry, resulting in this fatal accident.

The winner of Indian Idol 12, Pawandeep Rajan, suffered 'multiple injuries' in an accident that reportedly took place on May 5 around 3:40 am on National Highway 9, near the CO office of Gajraula police station. Reports suggest his car an MG Hector, hit a parked Eicher Canter from behind, adding the singer is now stable after he was taken to a private hospital for the treatment. Pawandeep, 28, hails from Champawat, Uttarakhand. He comes from a family of Kumoni folk music, where his father Suresh is a folk singer, mother Saroj and sister Jyotideep are also into the same art. In 2015, he attained The Voice India as part of singer Shaan's team and earned ₹ 50 lakh cash prize. He has guided young contestants on Superstar Singer 2. When it comes to his music career, it comprises singles such as Fursat, Yaad, Mazoor Dil, Tere Liye (from Romeo & Bullet), and O Saiyyonii (from Himesh Ke Dil Se: The Album). He won hearts of many, including audiences with his melodious voice and became popular overnight after succeeding Indian Idol Season 12. He overcame performances of five other finalists, namely Mohd Danish, Arunita Kanjilal, Nihal Tauro, Sayli Kamble, and Shanmukha Priya.
