Vibrant range of melodies ring out in Wexford during choral group's summer concert
The choir were fresh from their first place win at the Arklow Music Festival and their successful trip to the Cork International Choral Festival, where they placed fifth with 86.67 points, just four points behind the winners.
Under the expert direction of Eithne Corrigan, the group performed a selection of their competition pieces, demonstrating their precision, versatility, and joy in singing. They were joined on the day by guest musicians Lynda O'Connor, Siobhan Lynch, and Conor McCarthy.
The choir now breaks for the summer and will return in September to begin rehearsals for two upcoming Christmas concerts. New members are always welcome and can email goreychoralgroup@ for further details.
