LETTERS: Hold President Trump to his oath of office

LETTERS: Hold President Trump to his oath of office Hold President Trump to his oath of office The Congress of the United States makes the laws and the president is to see that the laws are carried current president thinks he makes the laws and unless we take him to court he gets to do what he wants. Congress is not acting to stop him, apparently, he has intimidated them into ignoring his behavior.I suggest that Congress enact a law that all executive orders of the president be reviewed by Congress in the Judiciary Committee and if they do not pass two tests by a 60% vote, they are not to be followed. One, the executive order must not violate the Constitution including its amendments. Two, the executive order must not violate the laws of Congress or interfere with the funding authorized to comply with such laws. The president serves to administer the laws of the United States. He took an oath to it. We must hold him to his oath of office. John Justice Northeast El Paso More: El Paso Women's March, People's Rally deliver message of resistance to President Trump Voters did not like the direction America was going President Donald Trump has started his priority of reforming the immigration law by removing criminals who entered illegally. The new Border Czar Tom Homan began by catching and deporting the first of the worst. The far-left liberals continue the resistance and misinformation through TV, social media and rallies. Trump's policy denies many genders and only recognizes two genders, male and female. A few senators and many representatives in the House will oppose Trump's policies. Whites, Latinos, Blacks, Asians, some Democrats voted for Trump by a landslide because they did like the direction the previous administration was taking America. With President Trump, America is headed towards a safe, bright, strong, energy independent, innovative, prosperous, transparent, bold, brave, respected, a free sovereign place, a nation under God that will be great again. Samuel Mancillas West Central El Paso More: Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth makes first visit to border in El Paso, Sunland Park Green card issue allows China to lead in 5G China currently dominates 5G technology, holding the majority of patents related to the transition from 4G to 5G. The history of its success is intriguing. Erdal Arikan, who was educated at Cal Tech and then MIT, wished to stay in the U.S. and work but was unable to obtain a green card. He then turned to China and began working for Huawei. While employed there, he resolved the complex theoretical issues that enabled the transition from 4G to the significantly faster 5G. This leads me to ponder what the world might look like today if Albert Einstein had been unable to secure permission to work in America before World War II.
