Events planned for Pride Month in CNY
SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — June is Pride Month, which celebrates the LGBTQIA+ community and throughout this month, Central New York Pride (CNY Pride) and others are celebrating with a number of events. The list below is some events celebrated by the LGBTQIA+ community in Syracuse. For additional information and more Pride events, visit CNY Pride's website. Saturday, May 31 from 11:00 – 11:30 a.m. Steps of Syracuse City Hall, on 233 E Washington Street in Syracuse 'Please join us on May 31st at 11 a.m. as we raise the Syracuse Progress Flag over Syracuse City Hall and officially kick off Pride Month in our beautiful city! We will have speakers, guests, and lovely music. All are welcome!' Sunday, June 1 at 2:45 p.m. Dewitt Town Hall, 5400 Butternut Road, East Syracuse 'As in years past, the Town of DeWitt will host its annual Progress Pride Flag raising ceremony. Join this joyful celebration featuring speakers, music, dancing, performances, snacks, refreshments, local vendors, and more.' Thursday, June 5 at 5 p.m. Aloft Syracuse Inner Harbor, on 310 West Kirkpatrick Street, Syracuse 'It's Pride Night with the Syracuse Mets! Tailgate starts at 5. Friday, June 13 and Saturday, June 14 May Memorial Unitarian Universalist Society, on 3800 E Genesee Street in Syracuse 'Celebrate our local and very talented LGBTQIA+ community by attending one of the SyracuseGay and Lesbian Chorus's concerts. This group brings energy and excitement to Central NewYork through the gift of music.' Saturday, June 14 at 12 p.m. Seneca Street Brew Pub, 315 E. Seneca St, Manlius, NY 'Join us for our 5th Annual Manlius Pride Festival! Featuring local art, live music, performances, food trucks, raffles, games, and more!' Saturday, June 21, from 11:00 – 5:00 p.m. Syracuse Inner Harbor 'As Grand Marshal, they'll lead off this year's Pride Parade at 11:00 AM, launching a full day of celebration.
