Elle Macpherson, 61, shows off her age-defying looks in sleek black ensemble as she attends ELLE Style Awards in Spain

Elle Macpherson is known for her ageless looks. And the 61-year-old appeared decades younger than her years as she attended the ELLE Style Awards in Madrid, Spain on Wednesday night. The supermodel opted for a chic ensemble for the fashionable event, consisting of a sequinned black jacket and matching trousers. She added a pair of towering designer heels with a leaf motif and carried a gold clutch purse that coordinated with her chunky bangles. Elle showed off her youthful visage with a natural makeup palette including a soft pink lipstick and wore her blonde hair down in mermaid waves. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, . Elle has previously spilled some of her beauty philosophy. 'When it comes to beauty, I have always believed that when you're well within, it shows on your skin,' she wrote on social media. 'Like anyone, I've experienced both sides to this coin so when I'm not feeling my best, it will often result in dry, agitated skin. 'This is an intelligent and poignant signal from my body, telling me to go inward. I am constantly in awe of the miraculous design of nature. 'Healthy, glowing skin is both a reflection of your spirit and the supreme intelligence of the natural world expressing itself through you.' Elle has attributed her ageless beauty to nourishing her body correctly and supplementing with natural vitamins. She recently shared an old interview of her on NBC's Megyn Kelly Today discussing her diet and how she looks so flawless in her fifties. 'When I turned 50 I wasn't feeling very well and I wasn't looking very well,' Elle said. 'I noticed my skin, hair, and weight... I was just not feeling inspired, I had sugar cravings, and poor digestion.' She continued: 'So, I went to my nutritionist and said listen, something is wrong, I need to address my lifestyle. 'She said I was taking a lot of synthetic vitamins so she put me on a powerful multivitamin, prebiotic, and probiotic powder. 'So I started taking it because I was kind of malnourished and I wasn't sleeping much and I wasn't eating enough fruit and vegetables and I was drinking too much coffee.' The supermodel said after being on this new nutrition plan for a month and taking this natural multivitamin, her life was 'transformed'. 'I saw such a change and my friend, who is now my CEO, said 'what are you doing you look amazing?' and I told her I was taking this green powder and it's changed my life'. Elle's dramatic transformation led her to starting her own natural supplement business and wellness empire, WellCo. Previously joining Amanda Wakeley on her podcast Style DNA, Elle revealed her tips for getting a good nights sleep after realising the importance of getting 8 hours. She said: 'I go to bed with a smile. I go to bed with a happy heart. And an eye mask. No clothes. My skin.' The model also explained that she avoids caffeine, eats her last meal at 5pm, and relaxes with a hot chocolate before drifting away. With the nickname of 'The Body', it's hardly surprising that Elle 's daily routine centres around health and wellness. When the alarm goes off at 5am the first thing that Elle does is 'smile', coincidentally it's also the last thing she does before she goes to bed. After grinning and reaching for a water and lime, she dedicates 25 minutes of her morning to meditating in bed ' to take care of her 'mind body and spirit'. She then jumps on her bike and cycling to the beach for a 6.30am swim. If time is short then Elle stays closer to home, explaining: 'I'll get outside and put my feet on the earth to ground. 'I do some yoga in the morning sun or Dr Zach's Four Minute Workout to stimulate nitric oxide. 'Sometimes I'll go for a cold plunge afterwards followed by a matcha in the sunshine before getting ready for my day.' The mother-of-two always chooses to exercise outside and in nature by hiking, biking, swimming or 'simply sitting in the fresh air and sunshine'. She said she has no set schedule when it comes to exercise and prefers to 'go with the flow' and swears by regular sessions in her infrared sauna as well as a cold plunge to 'reset'. She then adds a collagen elixir to her morning smoothie and takes gut support and protein supplements to help with her nutrition. A 'big believer in energy healing', Elle revealed she books regular appointments for acupuncture, chiropractic, breath work and sound healing as well as Russian Banyas, an ancient tradition of steam bathing with a wood stove burning dry tree or herb branches called veniks. Elle adheres to a plant-based diet and prefers homemade meals made 'with love' so her lunch will be made using locally grown and organic veggies, handpicked from her local farmer's market. An 'essential' part of Elle's day and to beat the 3pm slump is to perform an East Asian tea ceremony with her favourites being Rooibos tea in vanilla and earl grey. To 'be at (her) best', the age-defying model then takes a range of supplements and elixirs from her own wellness brand WelleCo. She said she takes care of her skin and body by juicing up to four times a day, dry body brushing, and following a $1,400 skincare routine from Dr Barbara Sturm. Elle uses a dry body brush up to three times a week 'to stimulate circulation and lymphatic drainage, clear my system of any toxins, and exfoliate my body for smooth, soft skin'. To wind down in the evening, Elle again likes to relax in the sauna then take a dip in cold water which she says is 'great for detoxing, immune boosting, lymphatic support and relaxation'. One of her favourite weeknight dinners is miso mushroom soup with Japanese sweet potato. Her nightly ritual then involves drinking a cup of WelleCo calming Tea and the last thing she does before sleeping is, of course: 'Smile. Put my hands on my solar plexus, think about what I'm grateful for that day, and drift into a peaceful sleep.'

Meanwhile, Gala looked effortlessly chic in a black bandeau top as she grinned alongside Lily during their fun-filled trip. Sharing the stunning snaps to Instagram, Lily gushed: 'Tokyo, I love you.' The holiday snaps come after Lily cut a chic figure as she joined Elle Macpherson at Dior's runway show in Kyoto, Japan in April. The actress showed off her sophisticated sense of style in a plunging black dress as she posed at the event held at the Toji Temple. She boosted her height with pearl-adorned heels and accessorised with gold hoop earrings while styling her honey tresses into perfect waves. Model Elle, 61, meanwhile wore a gorgeous silk embroidered white jacket which she teamed with wide-leg trousers. She clutched a small white handbag from the luxury brand and sported a perfect bouncy blowdry. Lily's appearance at the fashion show comes after she celebrated her 36th birthday earlier this year at a Michelin-starred restaurant in North London with her famous friends. Hiring a private space at the lavish eatery which has a minimum spend of £650, with the chef's fixed menu, including a wine pairing with each course, costs nearly £200 per person. Lily was all smiles as she was joined by several close friends including her Mamma Mia! co-star, Dominic Cooper, his girlfriend, actress Gemma Chan, actress Gala Gordon and socialite Poppy Delevingne, older sister of model Cara. Gala and Poppy took to Instagram to share pictures showing Lily looking happier than ever as she celebrated her day. She looked relaxed in a khaki sleeveless dress cut away at the waist, showing off her slender frame. The Surrey-born star and her friends drank champagne and red wine while feasting on a menu with mouth-watering items including £68 beef ribeye, £49 lamb with spiky artichoke and pine nuts and fresh pasta dishes such as £46 prawn taglierini. At the end of the meal, Lily was treated to a big white birthday cake adorned with multi-coloured candles, meringue balls and an icing photo of herself as a child in an early acting role. 'Keep shining my girl - this is your year,' her close friend Gala captioned a video online. Gala is an executive producer of Swiped, the film starring Lily as Whitney Wolfe Herd, the founder of dating app Bumble, due out this year. Gala is also co-founder of a film production company, Parados Productions, with Lily.

Proud Elle Macpherson reunites with her billionaire ex Arpad 'Arki' Busson to celebrate their youngest son Cy graduating from prestigious Massachusetts college

Elle Macpherson had every reason to celebrate over the weekend as her youngest son Cy Busson graduated from prestigious Babson College in Massachusetts with top honours. The 61-year-old Aussie icon took to Instagram to share a series of proud family snaps and videos from the graduation ceremony, which was held on campus. Cy, 22, looked dapper in his cap and gown as he accepted his diploma on stage, graduating Summa Cum Laude - the highest distinction awarded for academic excellence. In one heartwarming image, the fresh graduate is seen beaming as he shakes hands with university officials, while another shows him posing alongside proud mum Elle, his older brother Flynn Busson and her ex, billionaire French financier Arpad 'Arki' Busson, who is Cy's father. Elle captioned the photos with heartfelt tributes, proudly tagging her son @cybusson and writing 'The graduate' and 'Summa Cum Laude' over the footage. Cy later changed out of his graduation gown into a smart suit and Boston Red Sox cap. The ceremony was held at Babson College, a highly respected business school located in Wellesley, Massachusetts, which is known globally for its entrepreneurial leadership programs. At one point the Macpherson family posed alongside Arki's daughter Luna Thurman-Busson, whom he shares with actress Uma Thurman. Arki dated Elle in the late 1990s and early 2000s. The pair also share eldest son Flynn, 26, who has largely remained out of the spotlight. Elle, who is based between Miami and Europe, has often spoken about how proud she is of her sons, once revealing in an interview that motherhood was her greatest joy and achievement. Cy appears to be following in his famous mother's footsteps. He has already appeared in several magazine shoots and is represented by talent agency Next Models Miami. Cy mostly kept out of the spotlight until turning 18, but since reaching that milestone has featured in a handful of publications. While Flynn is clearly following after his father, Cy appears to be following in his famous mother's footsteps with a modelling career too He appeared on the cover of Australian Vogue and French Elle alongside his mother and older brother. He also fronted the Russian edition of Glamour Man. Elle wished her son a happy birthday in February last year. The model posted a gallery of never-before-seen snaps of her youngest child on Instagram, including one picture of herself breastfeeding a newborn Cy. 'Aurelius sped into the world in just four hours, bringing indescribable joy and unconditional love, making our family complete,' she wrote in the caption. She continued: 'We love you to the moon and back and round Australia a gazillion times. Thank you for choosing us.' Elle known as 'The Body', has previously said that when she became a mother, she decided to put her sons first over her career. 'I was 35 when I had my first [Flynn] and 41 when I had Cy and so I came to children a little later in life, but I made sure they were going to be the priority,' she said. 'I used to travel a lot and I'd go through that thing that [working] mothers go through. 'I would always tell them, 'Mum loves what she does and I hope in life you find something you love to do so that work doesn't feel like work and you go off and do your thing and while I'm off doing my thing. 'How cool for you guys to have that time without your helicopter, control-freak mother around.'' She also said she was 'moved' to learn one of her sons had said in an interview that she made them feel they were her 'priority'.

Supermodel Elle Macpherson reveals the one interview question she has never been asked

She's graced the cover of countless magazines, strutted the catwalks of Paris and Milan, and built a global wellness empire – but now Elle Macpherson has revealed the one interview question she's never been asked in her 40-year career. In an interview with Stellar magazine this week, the Australian supermodel, 60, revealed the surprising topic that she has never been questioned about. Asked by former model Jodhi Meares if there's a question she's long wished someone would pose, Elle didn't hesitate. 'Nobody has ever asked me if I've ever felt lonely and helpless – which I have, from time to time,' she responded candidly. The WelleCo founder explained that such moments often arrive when life is quietly nudging us to look inward. 'I believe we consciously or unconsciously create such moments so we can contemplate something that's awaiting our attention,' she said, adding that it's during these times that reconnecting with nature has helped her reset and return to herself. The raw admission offered a glimpse into the emotional resilience of a woman often labelled 'The Body' – a nickname born during the height of her modelling fame in the 1980s and 90s. Throughout the interview, Elle also reflected on her journey from self-doubt to global stardom, revealing she once wished she looked like someone else. But she decided to embrace her athletic build and Aussie spirit and it become a turning point. She explained that it wasn't until she stopped trying to be 'that other girl' and instead leaned into her tall, sporty frame and 'Amazonian courageousness' that her career truly took off. She credited that shift in mindset for launching her into international success. 'I learnt pretty quickly that our uniqueness is our true superpower,' Elle said. 'We're all here to express our unique inner beauty into this world – that's where the magic happens.' Despite decades in the public eye, Elle appears more grounded than ever – a trait she says comes from her ability to hit the reset button when life becomes overwhelming. Sharing a parenting hack from when her sons were younger, she revealed that she'd 're-start' their day by pretending to put them back to bed so they could wake up again with a new attitude. And she has her own go-to methods for regaining calm amid chaos – from breathwork taught to her by partner Doyle Bramhall II to dancing, cooking and gardening. 'I can reset quickly with three breaths,' she said. 'I've tried lots of ways to rebalance – listening to music, doing a crazy dance, immersing myself in a nurturing activity like cooking or having a bath.' The interview also teases her return to fashion in The Upside's new campaign, a nod to her long-standing presence in both the style and wellness worlds.

Elle Macpherson on motherhood, menopause and ageing

She's 61, a global icon, and still very much The Body – but Elle Macpherson says the real glow-up came when she stopped trying to be anyone else. Now at the helm of her wellness empire WelleCo and stepping into a new chapter of life with fresh purpose, the Aussie icon reflects on identity, motherhood and ageing in an exclusive interview with activewear designer Jodhi Meares for Stellar. 'When I was younger, I was always trying and wishing to be 'that other girl' – if only I was shorter, blonder, blue-eyed, cuter,' MacPherson tells Stellar. 'It was only when I leaned into my sporty, Amazonian, six-foot, fierce, Aussie courageousness that my career took off. 'I learnt pretty quickly that our uniqueness is our true superpower. We're all here to express our unique inner beauty into this world – that's where the magic happens.' While from the outside her life might look like one long, glossy highlight reel, Macpherson is quick to shut down the idea that it's always been easy. She's a mother to two sons, Flynn and Cy who are now in their twenties. But rather than taking credit for who they've become, MacPherson said it's her boys who should be proud of themselves. 'I can't really say I'm proud of my sons, in that they are a credit to themselves – they can certainly be proud of themselves,' she said. 'I'm very grateful for the relationship we have; that they, as souls, chose me to be their mum, and I have the opportunity to be a guide for them in their lives. As men, they're thoughtful, diligent, industrious, kind, creative.' Macpherson's optimism on ageing doesn't end with her sons however, with the former model and wellness entrepreneur believing the narrative around menopause and midlife needs to be rewritten. ' I'm proud of WelleCo and our mission to help people live a beautiful, fulfilling life through being well. And I'm excited to be opening new discussions around menopause being a new beginning, as nature intended, rather than an ending to dread, as it seems to be touted these days. 'Traditionally, it has been recognised as a chance to rebirth into a wiser woman, filled with life's experiences and bringing that to your community. We need it or we will continue to become lost.' For all her poise and calm, Macpherson admits she's had her fair share of overwhelming days, yet has found it's not about pushing through, but about pausing and consciously choosing a reset. 'For myself, I can reset quickly with three breaths in a practice I learnt from my partner, Doyle [Bramhall II, an American guitarist, producer and songwriter]. I've tried lots of ways to rebalance: listening to music; doing a crazy dance; immersing myself in a nurturing activity like cooking, having a bath or gardening.'
