Alan Halsall 'goes public with glamorous new girlfriend' as they spend time with his daughter Sienna and relationship gets 'serious'
Alan Halsall went public with his glamorous new girlfriend on Friday as they enjoyed a day out with his daughter Sienna. The Coronation Street star, 42, posted a snap with his new love Ellie Dolan, who is a human resources co-ordinator. In the Instagram story, captioned 'Friday' with a love heart emoji, Alan and Ellie beamed as they posed on either side of Sienna. The soap star looked effortlessly stylish in a tan polo neck and blue jeans, while Ellie stunned in a white crop top. According to The Mirror, the blossoming relationship is already 'serious' despite it being the first time the duo have been pictured together. A source told the publication: 'Alan is really happy. Ellie is a great girl and they have lots of common. And she gets on so well with Sienna, which is so important to Alan. Sienna is his world.' Alan and Ellie reportedly met at the Marriott Worsley Park club, where Alan is a member and Ellie works. A representative for Alan declined to comment when contacted by MailOnline. Alan was previously in a relationship with his Coronation Street co-star Tisha Merry, 31, however they split in 2024 after five years together. The star, who plays mechanic Tyrone Dobbs on the soap, met Tisha back in 2014 and they started dating in 2019 when she left her role as Steph Britton on ITV serial. Alan was previously married to Hollyoaks actress Lucy-Jo Hudson before their split in 2018. The pair share daughter Sienna, 11, together. The Coronation Street acto, began to display a trimmer appearance after embarking on a healthier lifestyle amid his 2018 divorce from Lucy-Jo, who played Katy Harris. Alan revealed that he embarked on a healthier lifestyle with strict diet and gruelling workouts. In 2019 he told The Sun that he goes to the gym at least three times a week, and undertakes 2.5k on the treadmill, bike, rowing machine and cross trainer. He told the publication at the time: 'I've transformed a little bit myself and people have seen that'. The following day he smashed a further two workouts in the morning alone. In the first he spent close to two and a half hours exercising - expending 1610 calories. He then trained for another 49 mins and worked off 477 more calories, writing: '4321 calories in 24hrs. Room for a beer now.' The average daily intake for a man is 2,500 calories'. Alan is also a fan of hot yoga, which is a type of yoga that's practiced in a heated studio and is said to help release toxins through sweat and can assist in weight loss. The actor even bonded over the practise with his then girlfriend and co-star Tisha Merry, who played Steph Britton.

Coronation Street star Alan Halsall reveals stunning new girlfriend a year after split from co-star
CORONATION Street favourite Alan Halsall has gone Instagram official with his stunning new girlfriend. The soap star, 42, shared a picture of himself and daughter Sienna with Ellie Dolan, 25, along with the caption "Friday [love heart]." 4 4 4 The Mirror reports that Alan met human resources coordinator Ellie at the Marriott Worsley Park golf club. A source said: "Alan is really happy. Ellie is a great girl and they have lots in common. And she gets on so well with Sienna, which is so important to Alan. Sienna is his world." His relationship with the mum-of-two is already said to be "serious" and comes 15 months months after he split from Corrie co-star Tisha Merry. After their romance came to an end an insider told us: "Alan and Tisha had a lot of love for each other and had really similar interests, enjoying socialising and going on holiday together. 'But they started to drift apart and feel the pressure of making their relationship work get on top of them. "They realised they weren't on the same page and splitting up felt like the best option. 'They've been focusing on themselves and surrounding themselves with their own friends." Tisha, who played bubbly barmaid Steph Britton in the soap, moved house late last year and described her 2024 as an "impossible year". They got together a year after Alan divorced Lucy Jo Hudson, with whom he shares Sienna, 11. Alan opened up about their relationship on I'm A Celebrity in December.
