Celebrate International Women's Day with art
SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — International Women's Day is a day to celebrate, highlight, and uplift women of the past and present.
According to a Facebook event, R.W. Norton Art Gallery in Shreveport is hosting an International Women's Day Tour to celebrate women. The tour will highlight women artists and depictions of notable figures in women's history throughout the permanent collection.
CPSO to empower women with Situational Awareness Workshop
The tour will be held on Friday March 7 at 1:30 p.m. The gallery is located at 4747 Creswell Avenue in Shreveport.
