The 10 ASOS new-in pieces that flatter every shape for summer – according to a fashion pro & they start at just £12
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) AS someone who lives and breathes fashion day-to-day, ASOS is one of my go-to shopping destinations. There are so many real gems on there and I've lost count of the amount of times I've said 'thanks, it's from ASOS'. 11 Emily Regan, of Fabulous' fashion desk, checks ASOS' new in page every day - here are her top recommendations Credit: Fabulous As well as own in-house brands, including ASOS Design, ASOS Edition and most recently a new premium line, Arrange, it also offers hundreds of other external brands to shop. In February 2021, it brought out high-street giant Topshop, previously a part of the Arcadia group which is now designed in house and stocked online- only (but maybe not for long as there has been speculation that it will be coming back to the high-street - hurrah!) However, with all these brands comes a lot of products, with plenty of newness dropping online each day. So it's safe to say shopping the site can be pretty overwhelming. And it's true, who wants to spend time tirelessly scrolling trawling through thousands of products to find exactly what they're looking for. Whenever I mention Asos, the usual response is 'How did you find that?' And my simple answer is that I scroll the 'new in' section every single day. Every morning, on my commute to work, i'll check what's new and add anything I love to my favourites, it's just become a part of my morning routine. So as a true ASOS super-fan, I've handpicked a curated selection of my top new-in arrivals for spring/summer which are well worth nabbing before they sell out. TOPSHOP COMEBACK THE BEST OF NEW IN 11 High neck structured maxi dress, £75 Credit: ASOS These hybrid dresses are making their way onto the high street thick and fast. This stone one is a great way to incorporate the sheer trend into your wardrobe, without feeling over-exposed. With a waved hemline and dramatic v-style back, this dress is a master piece for occasions, think black-tie gala, ladies day at the races or elegant dinners on holiday - it covers all basis. It's super elegant, shows off just the right amount of skin and looks way more luxe than the £75 price tag suggests. Plus, it'll never go out of style so it'll be a piece you reach for time and time again. 11 Bermuda shorts, £32 Credit: ASOS In my opinion, no wardrobe is really complete without a pair of bermuda shorts and this tailored chocolate brown pair are no exception. Their tailored look makes them super versatile - smart enough for the office yet effortlessly cool for the weekend and the light-weight fabric is comfortable even on hotter days. Plus, they go with just about anything, from shirts to t-shirts and jumpers, or you could even invest in the matching cinched blazer for the ultimate workwear co-ord. 11 Embroidered suede jacket, £300 Credit: ASOS When I saw this piece, I actually gasped! Brown suede jackets have been trending since last autumn but this lighter beige one is a much better alternative for Spring. While it does come with a slightly higher price tag, I do think it's well worth the investment. The embroidered floral detail is jaw-dropping and it's real suede so it's built to last. If you're heading to any festivals this year and want to make a statement then this is the way to do it, pair with some cowboy boots and you're good to go. it's a great layering piece that'll take you beyond festival season and well into autumn. 11 Sandals, £16 Credit: ASOS Everybody needs a good pair of summer sandals, so if you need to upgrade then now's the time. This thong-style pair are a great throw on and go style, but it's the gold detailing that really makes feel a little bit more special and adds versatility. They'd look lovely with a linen trouser suit for work or paired with a summer dress at a garden bbq. Plus, if you're travelling light they'll be just as perfect by the pool as they will be on an evening on holiday, the possibilities are endless. And if you're not a gold girl, they come in a silver colourway too. 11 Co-ord vest, £50, skirt, £55 Credit: ASOS The best thing about a co-ord is that it makes getting dressed so much easier. So if you're looking for your next festival outfit, something for girls trip to Ibiza or planning what to wear to that all important concert, then look no further. This set by ASOS design will have you shimmering like a disco-ball all night long. If you're into the idea but not quite sure if you'd rock the whole set, they'd look equally as great as separates. Pair the skirt with a simple white vest top or t-shirt or team the shimmering vest with some denim shorts for a parred down, yet still sparkling look. 11 Straw bag, £42 Credit: ASOS If you're anything like me, shopping for a beach bag often means I'm faced with the overwhelming dilemma of choosing between practicality and style. This circular straw bag is part of Topshop's latest summer collection and proves that you can have both. It's fringe detail makes a stylish statement and it's roomy enough to fit everything you need inside. Plus it sits comfortably on your shoulder so that you can carry it all with ease. Whilst it would look great on the beach, this bag is not made to be a one-trick-pony. It's spacious and stylish enough for a day out in the city, a stroll through the park or even a supermarket dash. 11 Graphic T shirt, £20 Credit: ASOS Graphic tees are really thriving right now and ASOS is absolutely stacked with so many to choose from. It can be tricky to find the balance between cool and cringe with these but I think this one gets it just right. It feels fun without trying too hard, ideal for dressing down with jeans or layering under a blazer for a cool off-duty look. 11 Pleated Maxi Skirt, £95 Credit: ASOS Just yesterday, ASOS' in-house premium brand, Arrange launched their latest spring/summer collection and it's safe to say it's full of some seriously stunning pieces. At the top of my wish list is this gorgeous pleated maxi skirt in off-white. I've recently hopped onto the maxi-skirt bandwagon myself, and I can't stop wearing mine, they're so easy to style. But this one feels a step above, the pleats make it look high-end. It's the sort of skirt that you can dress up and down, and still look put together each time. 11 Earrings, £12 Credit: ASOS Looking for some accessories to amp up your spring/summer wardrobe? I've always been impressed with ASOS' selection of jewellery and this pair in particular instantly caught my eye. The resin drop style is everywhere at the moment, and at just £12, these are a bargain. Plus they'll add a subtle pop of colour to your neutral outfits, without clashing. 11 Stripe trousers, £46 Credit: ASOS Linen trousers are a summer essential, in my eyes no wardrobe is truely complete without a pair. This striped style have been everywhere on my 'for you page' recently, they're blowing up right now and have just been restocked in this gorgeous new colourway. These stripes really make a statement, plus they're so easy to style. Just pair them with a simple white vest or oversized shirt and you've got a look that feels considered but in reality is so simple to create.

Fashion Assistant Emily's top tips on how best to shop ASOS As a self-proclaimed ASOS expert, here's my top tip for shopping the site, stress free. The Golden Rule: My number one rule and top piece of advice that I always share is this… If you want to get your hands on the best finds, and before they sell out (the good stuff goes fast!) then make a habit of checking out the 'new in' section daily. I've been doing this on my morning commute into the office for as long as I can remember, and honestly, it's saved me hours of scrolling. So much so that it almost just feels like a little piece of daily admin now. The next step is to 'favourite' anything that you like, or check-out immediately if you don't want to miss out. This way, when payday rolls around or if, say, in a few weeks you need a dress for a special event, you'll already have a collection of your favorite pieces ready to choose from. And, if you want to take your organisation to the next level, the app even has a 'boards' feature (it works a little bit like Pinterest) which allows you to group your favourite products together. I've currently got one going for Ascot next month! I've got a few dresses saved, and the best part is, if I want my friends advice on which one to pick, I can even forward my board onto her. It's such a great way to keep all of your outfit options in one place. By staying on top of the latest arrivals every single day, you'll never miss out on those must-have items and with a little patience, you'll be able to snag up your sought-after pieces whenever you need them. So make it a part of your routine and thank yourself (or me!) when the perfect piece is just a click away.

Five bargain high-street fashion brands that A-list celebrities can't get enough of
WE all love a bargain and looking stylish for less. And as it turns out, so do the very rich and very famous. Celebrity style has long felt like it's out of our reach, as most of us don't have their budgets or a personal stylist to dress us - but that's changed. Nowadays, you can find the world's most-in-demand models, Hollywood's elite and even royalty turning to the high street for their outfits. And if it's good enough for them, it's good enough for us. Here, Fashion Assistant Emily Regan reveals the high-street shops celebs love and what you need to be buying. M ANGO Last week Hailey Bieber, was papped nailing low-key dressing in this exact Mango trench - and it's still available to buy. Hailey paired it with a basic white tank and this season's must-have capri pants, plus some black shades and a mini heel to complete the look. And it appears that she's not the only one who's a fan of the high-street retailer. In 2023, the fashion world went crazy when supermodel Gigi Hadid was spotted in THAT leather jacket from Mango, as shoppers rushed to get their hands on the £299.99 piece that sold out almost instantly. 19 In fact, there's a whole squad of stylish stars who are fans of high-street fashion, and it's not just jackets on their radar. Supermodel, Emily Ratajkowski has also made her love for the brand be known, when last year she was papped in New York sporting a white, asymmetrical, embroidered summer dress by Mango, paired with red trainers. And there's actually some stock left of the dress for a discounted rate of just £74.99 on Mango's Outlet site. Although it's old season, it's a gorgeous dress that will be a staple in your summer wardrobe for years to come, so I'd recommend checking out soon as sizes are selling fast. DUNE LONDON Hollywood actress Daisy Edgar Jones was spotted in NYC last week sporting a chocolate-brown, woven shoulder bag from Dune London, which retails at £129. With her phone in one hand and the iconic slouchy bag draped over her other shoulder, she was photographed about to get into a car wearing a casual burgundy leather jacket, high-waisted blue jeans and black loafers. The shoes and accessories brand has seemingly become a celeb fave, also previously being worn by Gigi's lookalike sister Bella Hadid during a trip to Los Angeles. It's a much more affordable dupe of the Bottega Hop bag which retails at £3,670, so it's no wonder it's now sold out eight times with a saving of over £3,500. Three times a charm, American actress Katie Holmes swapped out her usual designer handbag for the XL version of the Deliberate bag, which now comes in five different colourways and with two inside pouches. ZARA Plus, fan-favourite retailer Zara appears to have earned the royal stamp of approval. Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, is well-known for her wardrobe, which blends high-end designer labels with more affordable, budget-friendly pieces. Her love for its double-breasted boucle blazers has become noticeable - so much so that she has been spotted re-wearing them on multiple occasions and the style has become a staple, with the retailer offering them year on year in a range of colours. The exact style is currently sold out (don't worry, we're sure it'll be back) but you can buy lots of similar versions HERE. And she's not the only royal to wear the brand. In her recent Netflix series With Love, Meghan the Duchess of Sussex can be seen dressed in pieces from Zara, too, notably a crinkled brown dress from the brand's premium S/S '24 collection, which unfortunately is now sold-out. 19 She refers to her 'high-low mix' style within the show, mentioning that she loves to pair budget-friendly pieces with more luxury items. H&M H&M is not shy of a designer collab or two, and in 2024, it marked 20 years of designer collaborations, including Karl Lagerfeld, Isabel Marant, Moschino, and most recently Magda Butrym. However, H&M has since shifted it's focus, featuring some of the world's most famous faces as ambassadors for its seasonal drops. This includes the likes of Charli XCX, Tyla and perhaps one of fashion's most famous Nepo babies, Lila Moss. In October last year, Lila shared a photo to her Instagram, where she can be seen wearing a stylish, knitted polo shirt, while sitting outside a book store. Despite looking uber-expensive, the polo shirt is actually from no other than H&M and retails at just £54.99. If its good enough for Lila Moss, it's good enough for us. Most sizes are sold-out, but there are still a couple of XS pieces left, so be quick. RIXO Rixo may be a little more on the pricier side, but when it comes to occasionwear, most of us don't mind spending a little more on the perfect piece. Founded in 2015, the brand is reasonably new, but has soared quickly and now has three stores in the heart of London. Most known for its hand-painted prints and vintage designs, it's easy to see why Rixo would be a winner for old-money aesthetic pro Sofia Grainge. The model, who's also Lionel Richie's daughter, took to Instagram in 2022 wearing the Meg Leopard Midi Dress, and the post has gained over 80k likes. Polka dots and leopard print are both huge for this summer, and blended together, this piece is sure to be a hit with shoppers. And it comes in a petite length too for us shorter girlies. Olivia Rodrigo has also been spotted wearing a bright, printed halterneck dress from Rixo with a detachable polka-dot scarf, on her recent holiday to Morocco. With the warmer weather approaching, this piece is perfect for any upcoming occasions, and it comes in two other prints. The combination of mixed prints and colours makes it an ideal choice for everything from weddings and races to an evening outfit while on holiday, just like Olivia! This dress is a little pricier at £365, but fear not, the brand has a rental and resale platform so you can either rent one of their dresses from four to 30 days or buy it second-hand for less. Kate Middleton's love of recycling clothes KATE Middleton might be a Princess, but that certainly doesn't stop her from rewearing her favourite frocks. Jenny Packham Gown: She first worn the frock to an ARK Gala Dinner in June 2011, and then rewore it three years later to the National Portrait Gallery in February 2014. Alexander McQueen Coat Dress: Kate donned the beautiful number for Trooping the Colour in June 2016 and then just a year later, was spotted in it again for the Easter Service, in April 2017. Temperley London Dress: She first wore the black lace dress at the War Horse Premiere, in January 2012, but then, just months later, donned it again, at the St. Andrews University Gala, in December 2012. Hobbs Coat: Even Kate is a fan of a staple coat, as she's reworn a classic number from Hobbs, which she first wore on Christmas Day in December 2012, and then again on a visit to Newcastle, in October 2013. Kate Middleton's sartorial choices continue to inspire many, proving that elegance and sustainability can go hand in hand.
