Iowa State adds Emily Ryan to women's basketball coaching staff
AMES, Iowa (KCAU) – One of Iowa State's premier point guards will be staying in Ames a little longer. The Cyclones announced the addition of Emily Ryan to the 2025-26 coaching staff as a graduate assistant. Ryan finished her playing career in the Cyclones' career top-five in assists, steals, and blocks. Ryan's 993 assists are seventh-most all-time in NCAA women's basketball history. Ryan helped guide the Cyclones to five NCAA Tournaments, including a Sweet 16 appearance in 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. All rights reserved.
