Rail changes between Wolverhampton and Shrewsbury due to incident
Rail passengers have been facing potential cancellations or long delays, because of an incident between Wolverhampton and emergency services were dealing with the incident and all lines were closed, affecting West Midlands Railway (WMR) and Transport for Wales (TfW) trains, National Rail about 14:20 BST it stated trains would be cancelled, delayed by up to an hour or announced rail replacement transport would run from about 15:15 BST, while TfW said such transport had been requested.
TfW services between Birmingham International and Shrewsbury, Rhyl and Aberystwyth, and WMR trains between Birmingham New Street and Shrewsbury were the routes was expected until 17:00 BST, National Rail added, suggesting people should check before they said the replacement transport would be operated by Brit Coaches, Eminence Travel and JKT International, and these coaches would run between Wolverhampton and Shrewsbury via Telford Central.
