Girard community gathers for Color Run to benefit Emmanual Center
GIRARD, Ohio (WKBN) — It was a fun and colorful experience at the 5K Girard Community Color Run at Girard High School on Sunday afternoon.
People of all ages could run or walk, encouraging exercise, supporting a good cause and creating colorful memories.
The Color Run is about more than just being active but also about giving back. All the money raised will go toward the Emmanuel Center, an important organization helping the Girard community.
There were also color stations where runners were covered with bright, safe powders.
