Emmitt Smith appears to love grilling as much as he does football

When it comes to Emmitt Smith, he settles for nothing but the best. The NFL's All-Time leading rusher proved to be the best time after time during his days with the Dallas Cowboys and he has continued that form well after his professional career ended. Advertisement These days Emmitt has a bit of a new team as he has partnered with Ken Griffey Jr. and the folks at Bud Light in the name of grilling. Check it out. For a limited time this summer, Bud Light and Budweiser are releasing bold, limited-edition patriotic packaging as part of their long-standing partnership with Folds of Honor. Featured prominently across the 'Grill Like a Pro' campaign, the refreshed cans and cases bring a striking red, white, and blue design to backyard BBQs and summer gatherings nationwide. More than just a seasonal look, a portion of proceeds from these packs will go to Folds of Honor to fund educational scholarships for the families of fallen or disabled military members and first responders, continuing Anheuser-Busch's long-term commitment to supporting those who serve.** Over the last 15 years, Anheuser-Busch, its industry-leading brands, and wholesaler partners have donated over $33 million, which has funded over 6,600 scholarships for Folds of Honor recipients. To learn more about the 'Grill Like a Pro' campaign, visit and be sure to keep an eye on Bud Light and Budweiser socials as Smith and Griffey will be breaking down their tips and tricks at the grill and sharing their favorite ways to enjoy summer. We are just outside of Memorial Day and before you know it the Fourth of July will be here as well. More from

Emmitt Smith admits Eagles fans are making Cowboys' Super Bowl drought feel worse: 'I'm sick of it'

Emmitt Smith has never had what you would call a friendly relationship with Philadelphia Eagles fans, but his team's division rival winning two Super Bowls apparently hasn't helped. The Dallas Cowboys legend had some pointed complaints on Tuesday when asked about his team's Super Bowl drought by a Dallas radio station: "I'm sick of it. I'm sick of it for two reasons. One, we have allowed others to come and nitpick at the star and make fun of the star and that's what happens when you give other people, or other organizations — now all of a sudden over the last 20 years they win two Super Bowls and think they're the best thing on the doggone planet, and everywhere I go I hear, 'Go Birds.' I'm sick of hearing, 'Go Birds.' I'm always asking where are you going? You still got a long way to go to get to us. "That part bugs me. It bugs me because in my heart I truly believe our organization should be contending for an NFC championship and even a Super Bowl at least once or twice every decade because every team recycles every decade. So for us not to be there over the last 30 years is a crying shame." In case you need reminding, the Cowboys have not won a Super Bowl since their title after the 1995-96 season. What's more, they have not reached an NFC championship game in that span of time, the longest such drought in the conference, despite a long-running status as the most valuable team in sports. Meanwhile, the Eagles and New York Giants have each won two Super Bowls. The other NFC East team, the Washington Commanders, has an even longer Super Bowl drought, but they can at least say they're looking much better for the long term than the Cowboys these days. And that they played in the NFC championship game last year.

Cowboys Legend Emmitt Smith Jealous Of Eagles' Success

As the Philadelphia Eagles continue to soar with recent success — including two Super Bowl victories in the past eight seasons — frustration is mounting in Dallas, particularly from one of their all-time greats. Cowboys legend Emmitt Smith, the NFL's all-time leading rusher and three-time Super Bowl champion, recently expressed his growing irritation with the Eagles' dominance and their vocal fanbase during an interview on Dallas sports radio station 96.7 FM The Ticket. Advertisement 'I'm sick of it,' Smith said bluntly. 'We have allowed others to nitpick at the star [logo] and make fun of the star... Now all of a sudden over the last 20 years, [the Eagles] win two Super Bowls and they think they're the best thing on the planet, and everywhere I go I hear, 'Go Birds.' I'm sick of hearing 'Go Birds.' I'm always asking where are you going? You still got a long way to go to catch us.' Smith's frustration stems from the stark contrast between the two franchises in recent decades. While the Eagles have flourished — making the playoffs seven times in the last eight seasons, appearing in three Super Bowls, and winning two Lombardi Trophies — the Cowboys have experienced what Smith calls 'a crying shame' of a drought. Dallas hasn't reached an NFC Championship Game in nearly 30 years, giving them the longest active conference title game drought in the NFC by a full 15 years. Since their last Super Bowl victory in 1996, the Cowboys have managed just five playoff wins. For perspective, the Eagles won four postseason games in this past season alone. 'That part bugs me,' Smith admitted. 'It bugs me because in my heart, I truly believe our organization should be contending for an NFC championship and even a Super Bowl at least once or twice every decade, because every team recycles every decade. For us not to be there for over the last 30 years is a crying shame.' Advertisement Smith, who earned eight Pro Bowl selections and was the 1993 NFL MVP during his illustrious career, was part of the legendary Cowboys dynasty that won three Super Bowls in four seasons (1993, 1994, 1996) alongside Troy Aikman and Michael Irvin. As the Eagles look toward another potential championship run in 2025, Smith's message serves as a reminder of the Cowboys' storied past. However, for the current generation of NFL fans, Philadelphia's recent dominance speaks volumes — and the 'Go Birds' chants that irritate Smith so much show no signs of quieting down.
