Man hit with umbrella, stabbed in Bronx deli: NYPD
THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) — A man was hit with an umbrella and stabbed several times while waiting for his food in a Bronx deli over the weekend, police said.
A man and a woman allegedly attacked the 44-year-old victim in the Empire Gourmet Deli at 3764 White Plains Rd. at around 3:40 a.m. Saturday, according to the NYPD.

The woman picked a fight with the victim while he was waiting for his order before beating him with the umbrella, police said. While the customer was defending himself, a man allegedly punched him and stabbed him multiple times, cops said.
The victim suffered stab wounds to the chest, arms, legs, and back and was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
The suspects ran out of the deli after the incident, police said.
There have been no arrests. The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspects.
