Sydney Sweeney Spills Beans on How Things Change For Cassie in 'Unhinged' Euphoria Season 3: 'She is Crazy...'

Sydney Sweeney is all set to hit the screens again. The actress will reprise her role as Cassie in the new season of Euphoria, alongside the cast members, including Zendaya, Jacob Elordi, and more. Opening up about the upcoming season, the Anyone But You star revealed that it will be completely 'unhinged.' In conversation with Empire Magazine, the movie star shared that Cassie has never been happier than in season 3. Apart from being happy, the actress revealed that her character has never been crazier either. While sitting down for an interview with the media outlet, Sweeney shared, 'I have such a spot in my heart for Cassie, and I hold her really close and dear.' The actress further added, 'She is crazy. She makes so many mistakes. She's flawed on so many levels, but she does it all from a place of love. It could be a sad version of love as well. It's so much fun to play a character who is as crazy as she is. Sam [Levinson] is such a brilliant filmmaker to work with, because I'll read something, then I'll call him, and I'm like, 'Let's go crazier.' And he's like, 'I'm all in.' And this season is unhinged.' The makers of the show confirmed that the show entered production in January this year. Moreover, all of the cast members will be returning in the new bunch of episodes. Euphoria went on to reveal its dark storyline in the second season, where the audience was also introduced to Cassie's secret tryst with Maxie's abusive boyfriend, Nate. Apart from Euphoria, Sweeney also completed her shooting for an untitled biopic of Christy Martin. The new season of Euphoria will hit the digital screens by the end of 2025 or early 2026.

Ballerina first reactions: John Wick spin-off hailed as a ‘worthy addition' to franchise with ‘mind-blowing' action

Fans are eagerly waiting to see how actor Ana de Armas fares in the John Wick spin-off Ballerina. The film had its first screening in London where it was showed to selected members of the press, and if the early reactions are anything to go by than fans can expect a summer blockbuster which promises 'jaw-dropping' action sequences and stunts. (Also read: Tom Cruise is all praise for Ana de Armas-starrer Ballerina amid romance rumours) Reporter Jonathan Sims called Ballerina 'the best movie of the year,' in his tweet, and went on to add: 'Absolute mayhem from start to finish. Mind-blowing fight scenes, phenomenally choreographed and staged. Ana de Armas is an action hero for the ages. A simple revenge story with incredible stunts and improvised weapons, from flame throwers to grenades to ice skates. You have to see it to believe it.' Amon Warmann of Empire Magazine said, 'Really dug #Ballerina! Slickly choreographed action which has lots of variety - Grenades! Flamethrowers! Roller skates! - and Ana de Armas proves she can scrap with the best of them. A worthy addition to the John Wick franchise. More please!' Several press members noted the relentless action sequences in the film. The Nerds of Color said, 'The action's brutal and relentless! De Armas is terrific & I can't wait to be seeing more of Eve soon! Imperfect but worthy installment to the world of Wick.' Meanwhile, Chalice Williams of Black Girl Nerds said, 'Ballerina is hands down one of the top 3 in the John Wick franchise! The action doesn't stop until the credits roll! Ana De Armas is THAT girl! The incredible fight sequences stole the show! Love how the film didn't need Keanu to carry it, it was a force on its own.' Critics noted highly of the film's addition to the John Wick franchise. Chris Bumbray of JoBlo's movie network added, 'Happy to say Ballerina is actually a solid addition to the John Wick franchise, and a good star vehicle for Ana de Armas, who is a born movie star.' Nadya Martinez of GothamGeekGirl noted, 'Ballerina expands the world of #JohnWick with absolutely stunning backdrops, an exciting and gripping vengeful story of consequences, and a heavy arsenal of creative weapon choices and quick-witted resourcefulness.' Ballerina focuses on a young, highly skilled assassin played by Ana de Armas. The story follows her quest for vengeance against those who murdered her family, unfolding between the events of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum and John Wick: Chapter 4.

Has Andor Season 3 Been Canceled or Renewed?

Andor Season 2 is about to drop its last three episodes. It is expected to be a rollercoaster of emotions, closing Cassian Andor's journey in the rebellion. With the second season coming to an end, fans are curious about the series' next installments. So, is Andor canceled or renewed for a Season 3? Here is everything you need to know about the potential next season of the sci-fi fantasy drama. No, Andor Season 3 has not been canceled by Disney+. However, it won't be renewed either. Season 2 will air its final three episodes on May 13, 2025. There has been curiosity regarding an extra number of episodes due to streaming platforms' trend of splitting well-known shows' seasons into parts. However, Andor Season 2 is not following this release pattern. Further, fans were looking to the Star Wars series' next chapters. Sadly, Andor won't be renewed for more seasons, but it has not been canceled by the streaming platform either. The series will come to a conclusive end with the second installment. For the unversed, Andor was originally planned as a five-season arc by creator Tony Gilroy. He wanted every chapter to cover one year of Cassian Andor's life. The events would eventually lead to Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, ending the rebels' journey with a sacrifice. However, during the production of Season 1, Gilroy began feeling overwhelmed with the idea of more seasons. Soon, he and lead actor Diego Luna concluded that the two parts would be enough. In an interview with Empire Magazine, Gilroy recalled feeling pressured by his original plans. He stated, 'Oh my God, we are going to have to come up with another 12 hours of story? So I was already panicked. We already said we were going to do five years [of timeline], that was the concept. How do you get out of that?' Further, Luna felt emotional for his journey in Andor as he told Deadline, 'I said goodbye to this character when we wrapped… I'm going to miss this family.' While Andor is ending, it will be exciting to see if the show's story will be explored in future spin-offs of the Star Wars Universe. New Poster Art and Confirmed Name of JURASSIC WORLD REBIRTH's Deadliest New Dinosaur — GeekTyrant

Empire Magazine has released the artwork that will grace the cover of their next issue, and it features a deadly new dinosaur from the upcoming sequel, Jurassic World Rebirth , which is confirmed to be identified as the Distortus Rex. This thing looks like it's coming straight out of the Alien franchise, more than the Jurassic one, but I guess as the scientists continue to experiment and make new breeds, creepy things can happen. The movie stars Scarlett Johansson as Zora Bennett, Jonathan Bailey as Dr. Henry Loomis, and Mahershala Ali as Duncan Kincaid. It is directed by Gareth Edwards ( Godzilla, The Creator ), from a script by Jurassic Park screenwriter David Koepp. They say it's just the beginning of a brand-new story that they hope to tell over the course of multiple films. The director previously said: 'I can't speak for Universal, but it did feel like a new trilogy, in a way. I'm not sure what their plans are, but it felt like the beginning of a brand-new chapter in this franchise.' He went on to say that the movie is 'a giant love letter to Steven Spielberg and his earlier films. There are moments in this movie that remind me very much of Jaws. It's like little greatest hits of all those aspects of his films that I loved growing up as a child. It's essentially a little adventure odyssey across this island, a survival story, really.' The film is set five years after the events of Dominion , 'in which dinosaurs mingled with humans all over the globe, these creatures are now dying out. The present-day planet proved to be inhospitable to the prehistoric ilk, except for a small region in the tropics around the equator, where many of them now congregate.' Universal Pictures will release the film in theaters on July 2, 2025. Check out the new art below, from @timdrawsinink, and let us know if you're looking forward to this movie!

Florence Pugh thrills in frills while Sebastian Stan debuts bold new look at Thunderbolts premiere amid epic first reactions

By Published: Updated: Florence Pugh practically floated on to the red carpet during the Hollywood premiere of her new movie Thunderbolts*, which was held at the Dolby Theatre on Monday. The 29-year-old Oscar nominee fanned out her ruffled mint chiffon gown selected by stylist Rebecca Corbin-Murray. Florence's frilly frock featured a sculpted bustier bodice and a multi-layered skirt revealing a glimpse of her sparkly silver peep-toe heels. Hairstylist Hyungsun Ju coiffed Pugh's shoulder-length golden locks and make-up artist Alex Babsky brought out her bushy brows and fully contoured her complexion. The British blonde was joined by but did not pose with her rumored boyfriend, Last Breath actor Finn Cole. However, Florence happily shared a cozy moment with her director Jake Schreier. Pugh reprised her role as Black Widow assassin Yelena Belova in the superhero flick - hitting US/UK theaters this Friday - which marks the final film of Phase Five of the MCU. 'My whole journey with Marvel was because of Scarlett [Johansson] trusting me and Scarlett wanting me to join her movie [Black Widow] six years ago,' the We Live in Time star admitted to THR on Monday. 'So I always miss her presence. It was such a mean thing … that [Black Widow] was the first and the last time I would get to experience this world with her. But I am genuinely always just hoping that she's proud.' And while reviews are still technically under embargo, Empire Magazine's Amon Warmann tweeted last Tuesday that Thunderbolts is 'the best MCU film in a long while' and singled out Florence for 'bringing the heart.' Total Film's Emily Murray agreed, tweeting that Pugh 'in particular [is] superb, just walks away with it.' Discussing Film's Jacob Fisher called Thunderbolts 'truly fantastic' and 'well written' with 'very strong' action sequences while praising the ensemble for their 'electric chemistry. Digital Spy's Ian Sandwell tweeted that the Dune: Part Two actress was 'always-excellent' and Thunderbolts brought an Infinity era-style focus on 'characters and story, rather than fan service of future set-up.' Meanwhile, Sebastian Stan debuted a bold new look with his black pinstripe suit for the film festivities. The 42-year-old Oscar nominee shaved his head for his role as Romanian immigrant Mihai in Cristian Mungiu's family drama Fjord, which began filming in Norway last March - according to Cineuropa. It's a very different look considering Sebastian's chin-length locks as Thunderbolts leader Bucky Barnes in the action-packed ensemble flick.
