Saturday Boredom Busters: April 5th
SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO) — The One Book Siouxland community reading project hosts its kick-off event at the downtown main library in Sioux Falls. The year's featured book is Vanished in Vermillion, by former KELOLAND News reporter Lou Raguse. Activities include a look at local, historical crimes at 10 a.m., a discussion on Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women at 11:30 a.m., and a panel of local journalists, including KELOLAND's Dan Santella, discussing crime reporting at 1 p.m. Registration is encouraged.
The top bull riders in the world are competing in PBR: Unleash the Beast at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center. The action gets underway at 7:45 p.m. Sunday's event is at 1:45 p.m. Purchase tickets at the KELOLAND Box Office.

Terry Peak in the northern Black Hills is hosting a Pond Skim on this final weekend of skiing and snowboarding season. Registration is at 9:30 a.m. Mountain Time with the pond skim beginning at 11 a.m. A costume contest follows along with live music.
