Assist Roofing Expands Metal Roofing Services to Offer Fortified Protection for Coastal Homes In NC
04/27/2025, Washington, NC // KISS PR Brand Story PressWire // Assist Roofing has raised the bar for residential roofing across coastal North Carolina with a fortified metal roofing protection upgrade built to withstand the region's fiercest storms. By combining sleek metal design with Fortified Roof Certified engineering rigor, this Washington-based roofing company delivers guaranteed protection and safety to homes in high-risk zones. With over 50 years of experience, Assist Roofing has established itself as a trusted name in coastal roofing. Fully licensed and insured, the company's residential metal roofs are designed for aesthetics and functionality, providing energy efficiency and long-term durability. Its Energy Star-rated systems can cut household energy bills by up to 40%, and nearly half of the installation cost can be added to the home's market value. Recognized by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Energy Star-rated roofing reflects more sunlight and reduces heat absorption, helping homes lower cooling demands and increase overall home comfort. What sets the company apart is its integration of Fortified Roof Certified services, a nationally recognized program developed by the Insurance Institute for Business & Home Safety (IBHS) to strengthen homes against severe weather. These specifications require third-party verified construction methods in proving roofs can resist wind speeds up to 160 mph, reduce water intrusion, and minimize storm-related damage. In many cases, this added protection also qualifies homeowners for reductions in insurance premiums, adding tangible value to the investment. 'Every homeowner in this region knows the cost of storm damage—not just in dollars, but in stress and disruption,' said a company spokesperson for Assist Roofing. 'By offering fortified metal roofing, we're giving people a better way to prepare, protect, and preserve what matters most.' The roofing company's focus on high-performance design doesn't stop at installation. This team of trusted local contractors offers year-round roof maintenance services to maximize system longevity. These include sealant reapplications, inspections, and treatments tailored to the coastal climate's demands. When disaster strikes, this roofing company also has a 24/7 emergency storm response team whom clients can rely on. These technicians deliver emergency patches, damage assessments, and insurance support, often preventing costly secondary repairs. It's this full-service approach that sets these roofing specialists apart from the average roofing company near me in search results. That same attention to protection and precision carries over into every roof installation. Homeowners can choose from two premium roofing systems: a 29-gauge vertical panel with stainless steel fasteners or a 26-gauge standing seam design with no exposed fasteners. Each product offers over 15 color choices and are tailored trim for curb appeal, with Fortified upgrades opening access to local grants and insurance incentives. In a region defined by coastal weather risks, Assist Roofing remains a trusted leader in both residential and commercial roofing contractor services.
