Not keen on streetlight contract: EESL

1 2 Hyderabad: Energy efficiency services limited ( EESL ) has expressed disinterest in renewing its contracts for the maintenance of streetlights across the city after the expiry of the contract on April 30. The GHMC has asked EESL to agree to continue operations and maintenance services, including maintenance of spare parts, repairs, manpower for streetlights and CCMS boxes for another two months. This extension is necessary as it takes time to tender and finalise a new agency for the maintenance of the streetlights.
