Enra unit partners with Italy's Fincantieri to support naval vessel projects
ENRA Group Bhd said that its 70%-owned indirect subsidiary, Enra Energy Solutions Sdn Bhd, has entered into a technical collaboration agreement (TCA) with Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri SpA.
The agreement, signed in the presence of Italian and Malaysian authorities, outlines cooperation in the supply and support of new naval vessels, including multi-role support ships and littoral mission ships.
Enra views the partnership as a strategic step to strengthen its position in the maritime and defence sectors.
Shares of Enra were untraded on Thursday, with the last trade recorded on May 13. —TMR
