Equis Seeks Over $1 Billion Loan for Korean Wind Farm Project
Clean energy developer Equis Development Pte. is in talks with banks for a potential loan to fund an offshore South Korean wind farm project, according to people familiar with the matter.
Equis, which specializes in renewable energy and waste infrastructure across Asia, is seeking project financing of more than $1 billion, said the people, who asked not to be named discussing private matters. The loan, which has a tenor of around 20 years, could comprise of tranches denominated in the South Korean won and US dollars, the people added.
