Rhea Ripley rockets into Money in the Bank mayhem; Zoey Stark out
WWE's women's division just got its kicker with Rhea Ripley 's entry into the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match. With this comeback, Ripley would be officially joining Roxanne Perez and Alexa Bliss with three other spots to be filled in further matches in a must-watch showdown. The final is scheduled for June 7, 2025 in Inglewood, California. The Monday Night Raw that took place on May 19th decided this twist. What was originally supposed to be a triple threat qualifier, the match turned more into a one on one match after Zoey Stark suffered a knee injury early on. An injury so bad that the officials had to help her out. The pace of the match between Ripley and Kairi Sane , then, slowed down for a moment. Kairi, herself making a return after months long injury, showed no signs of rust. Her high-flying offense and ring savvy pushed Ripley to the limit. But the 'Eradicator' was not to be denied. Timing a brutal counter to Sane's InSane Elbow, Ripley delivered a thunderous Riptide that sealed the deal and punched her ticket to Money in the Bank. Rhea Ripley's net worth is set to go up in the near future. Source: X Live Events This victory over Kairi and entry into the finals marks a major comeback for Ripley. I'm just going out there and being me. I'm being genuine to myself. I look different, I act different, and that's what I want everyone to do too.' During the same episode, the former WWE Women's World Champion shared that she had broken down on multiple occasions. But she would recall why she is a professional wrestler and the support from the fans reminds her why she loves professional wrestling. Ripley also shared that she threw away everything else to become a wrestler. 'Yeah. I've gone through that stage [the breaking point] multiple times. Yeah! This is a hard business. It's a mental game and a physical game altogether. But then, at the same time I have to remind myself how much I loved it and how much I got like, brought into everything with the storylines. And every time I step out in front of the crowd I feel the love from the people and that's what reminds me of how much I love what I do. And also, I literally threw everything else away that I had worked on in my life. All the eggs were in one basket,' Rhea Ripley said. Do you think Ripley can dethrone IYO SKY at WrestleMania 41?
