The President of the United States of America just posted about Taylor Swift... again! Win McNamee / Getty Images, Matt Winkelmeyer / Getty Images for The Recording Academy If you remember, in September 2024, President Trump posted "I HATE TAYLOR SWFIT!" a few days after Taylor announced that she planned to vote for former Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate, Governor Tim Walz. After Harris's Sept. 10 debate victory, Taylor shared a post on her Instagram. Gotham / WireImage, @taylorswift / She wrote, "I'm voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them," Swift wrote in part in the Instagram post. "I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos." In an interview on Fox News' Fox & Friends, President Trump claimed he was "not a Taylor Swift fan" and suggested that "she'll probably pay a price for it in the marketplace" but based on her tour sales and record-breaking numbers, she didn't. The reactions online have been swift (pun intended). Here's some of what people are saying: This person pointed out that "not a single soul" was talking about Taylor Swift when the president decided to bring her up.
