Etihad Salam Telecom and center3 to enhance connectivity
The ICT sector in Saudi Arabia is poised for substantial growth, with projections reaching $82.51bn by 2030. The agreement, formalised at Capacity Middle East 2025, aims to improve network resilience, enhance connectivity and provide scalable solutions in alignment with the digital economy strategy set by the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (MCIT). Saudi Arabia's ICT sector is projected to reach $82.51bn by 2030, making strategic partnerships crucial for driving innovation. By combining Etihad Salam Telecoms expertise in Last Mile and internet access services with center3s data centre and internet exchange capabilities, the two companies seek to accelerate advancements in cloud data management, internet connectivity and digital transformation. Speaking about the collaboration, Amjad Arab, Chief Wholesale and Partnerships Officer at Etihad Salam Telecom Company, said: 'Our mission is to provide robust, innovative solutions that support the rapid expansion of digital content and seamless technology experiences. We are excited to work together to offer enriched connectivity services and bring content closer to end-users, ultimately empowering businesses to thrive in an increasingly digital landscape. The partnership focuses on three key areas: expanding network reach and reliability through shared connectivity services, leveraging center3s carrier-neutral data centres to enhance enterprise solutions, and integrating Etihad Salam Telecoms network with center3s internet exchanges to enrich the digital ecosystem. As part of the agreement, Etihad Salam Telecom will integrate its network infrastructureincluding advanced data centres and international cable systemswith center3s state-of-the-art facilities, further transforming connectivity solutions across the region.
