American F1 Veteran Logan Sargeant 'Stepping Away' From Racing
American Logan Sargeant, who lost his Formula 1 ride with Williams midway through the 2024 season and who was set to race in the European Le Mans Series, is apparently "stepping away from the sport to pursue other interests."
The news on the 24-year-old Sargeant is surprising. He was slated to drive for the IDEC Sport and Genesis Magma Racing in the Euro Series, where he was to pair with former W Series and Indy NXT driver Jamie Chadwick.
Following the decision of Logan Sargeant to stepping away from the sport to pursue other interests, IDEC SPORT and Genesis Magma Racing are taking note of his decision and will announce his substitute in the next few days. We wish Logan all the best in his future projects.

IDEC Sport Racing released the news on its X page on Tuesday.
The six-race ELMS schedule is scheduled to kick off April 1 with testing in Barcelona ahead of the season-opening race there the next week.
Sargeant, who made 36 starts for Williams F1 in 2023 and 2024, tested an Indy car for Meyer Shank Racing at Thermal Club in California, but no IndyCar Series deal for 2025 came of it.
His best finish in Formula 1 was a 10th-place finish at Austin in 2023.
