PM, Belgian minister review bilateral ties
Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani met with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Affairs and Development Cooperation in the Kingdom of Belgium HE Maxime Prevot in Doha on Sunday. During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations and ways to support and enhance them. They also discussed the latest developments in the Gaza Strip, the occupied Palestinian territories, and Syria, in addition to a number of issues of mutual interest. (QNA)

Belgian deputy PM meets Khulaifi, praises Qatar's mediation efforts
BRUSSELS: Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs HE Dr Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi, has met with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Affairs and Development Cooperation of the Kingdom of Belgium HE Maxime Prevot, in Brussels. During the meeting, they discussed relations between the two countries and ways to support and strengthen them, in addition to discussing the latest regional and international developments, particularly in the Middle East and Africa, as well as a number of topics of common concern. The Belgian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Affairs and Development Cooperation praised the State of Qatar's ongoing efforts as part of the joint mediation aimed at achieving a permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. He also commended its efforts in supporting the African Union's efforts to resolve the crisis between the Republic of Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
