Tributes pour in as Sharlene Mawdsley's dad Thomas dies suddenly
Tributes are pouring in for Sharlene Mawdsley's father, who passed away suddenly this week.
The Olympic runner's dad, Thomas (Tucker) Mawdsley, passed away on Tuesday, June 3.
His death notice says Thomas is 'Sadly missed and forever loved by his loving partner Louise, mother Sally, sons, daughters, grandchildren, siblings and his extended family and wide circle of friends.' Tributes have been pouring in, with one person writing: 'Sincere condolences to Sharlene, Louise and all the Mawdsley family on the loss of Thomas. Thoughts and prayers are with you all at this sad time. May he Rest in Peace.'
Another person said: 'Dear Sharlene we are so very sad to hear that your Dad has passed away. Im sure ye are all heartbroken at his sudden passing. Our Sincere Condolences to you and all your Family. May he rest in peace.'

Thomas's tragic passing comes just days after his daughter, Sharlene, competed in Philadelphia, where she achieved her season's best in Michael Johnson's Grand Slam Track.
The Tipperary native came sixth in the 400m sprint with a time of 51.12 seconds.
Thomas will repose at Meehan's Funeral Home Newport on Friday, June 6, from 5.30pm to 7.30pm, with removal to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer, Newport.
His funeral mass will take place at 11.30am the following day, with burial afterwards in Rockvale Cemetery Newport.
